Hiya Everyone
I have some good news to tell , I live in the UK and im disabled with leg problems so this gave me a free bus pass . However i couldnt travel on it been Sally .
So i contacted the Council and stated my problems im having and told them that im Transgender and will be going through the steps with Transitioning over the next few years .
There offered me another bus pass , Still carrying my Male Name but with my image as Sally .
Ive not been out in my home town much dressed , But i had to go and get my photo took as Sally .
So now im waiting for the post with my new pass .
Im so happy now , And i can get around with Ease ...
Maybe this will help other's living in the Uk .

How far along your transition process are you if you've never had pictures taken? I'm not considering transitioning and yet I have hundreds of pictures and it seems most of us here have many pictures too.
I know all about leg problems since my arthritis got into my knees and I can hardly walk 10 ft without pain most of the pain medication just doesn't work well for me either.
I wish you the best sister.

I have loads of images of me as Sally , However the Uk Goverment/Councils have a law .
I had to go to the Council department and get the image took on they system .
I also had to go as Sally to prove i was not getting another pass for someone else .

How nice, that the goverment has made that possible for you, now you can travel no matter how you want to dress, I hope that makes it a lot easier for you to get around without the worry about what you have on.
A lot of the girls here in the U.S.A. have duel ID's and I know it makes travel so much easier for them.
