I Hate My Adams Apple

Although I AM going to get a surgery the, tracheal shave, I need some help to hide it now >.< i hate this thing more than I hate well lets not go there. I hate it -.-

any suggestions?

The best thing for making your voice higher, is to practice, practice, practice.

It would seem obvious, but I'll suggest two. Either a chocker, or a trendy scarf tied around your neck. I'm sure there will be many more things suggested, you will have lots of options.

yes, I think chokers and scarves are the best...can't see many alternatives (and chokers are so sexy,btw...)
about the voice, I read somewhere once (but maybe I'm mistaken, can't really remember) that you can buy videos where teachers show you, through exercises, how to make your tones more feminine...

Yeah,a scarf or choker could be good.If I'm not wearing anything like that,usually I will use darker makeup on the center of the neck and lighter on the sides.Kind of sets it back and evens things out nicely.When I try to get my voice higher it seems to set back a little anyway.Much like when I swallow something,I tried to pay attention to what's making it go up and learned to hold it some.I was able to work a little on pitch from there and then the way I speak my words.I notice very little vibration in my chest after some time practicing now.Its cool.Nothing amazing but I didn't think I could get this far when I started.Lots of work to do but I really want it

So why hide it!!! I've found out that the more you try to camaflague something the more you draw attention to it.. Better to always wear a short cute skirt or a dress with killer heels and hot looking legs and draw their attention down south!! Lol.

haha i cant i use to not be a good kid, i use to do "stuff" that made me not hungary and I am not talking anorexia or bulimia -.- VERY ashamed of it now but since then I cant gain an ounce >.<
I am 118 lbs and I gained THAT over the course of 33/4 years so :/ idk i am going to look at chokers! ^_^

I know about 2 girls/GGs that have Adams apples and instead of making them look ugly or odd it makes them look a little different kinda sexy.Dont worry about it too much.

Wear the scarf or a choker. I wear scarf alot even tho my Adams apple is not that noticiable.

I don't know what the regulations are in your country but a tracheal shave is not without risk and I'd be surprised if a surgeon would be prepared to do it unless you're full-time (and probably with the support of a psychiatrist who specialises in GID). It's far too easy to sit in front of a mirror and pick out what you think are faults - even some drop-dead gorgeous women get into that mindset. I'd advise that your true yardstick is going out in public. If you can go out and about without any significant reaction (none of us pass 100%) the your Adam's Apple isn't as obvious to others as you imagine it might be. HTH.

Three other ideas I know of wear a longer wig with hair that curls into the front of the neck helps the side view from being seen. Wear ribbons around your neck like a choker( you can find the width you want at fabric stores.
Or best of all act and carry yourself confidently.

I agree with Karen. Dress to kill get thier attention elsewhere. Turtle necks are too warm and a scarf draws attention because less women are wearing them now.

well mine is pretty out there, my friend Wyatt says "It Looks Like You Swallowed An Egg" So yea it is pretty noticeable on me... :/
ill just use a choker lol
