My Comfort Zone

Being a cross dresser is a good thing for me
I love to cross dress as a woman
I know I’m not a beauty queen but
I glow
I have charm
Appeal
Wit
And wisdom.

I found CD.com about a month ago
I read the limited posts that I could for a couple of weeks,
Then I joined,
reluctantly,
but from what I read and how I felt in general,
I knew my situation wasn’t unique, but very common.

My wife doesn’t share this lifestyle with me and I’m OK about that.
I’ve been a cross dresser since I was about 12
It is very much a part of who I am

Being a member here has helped improve my self esteem
And has helped eliminate my feelings of guilt that I associated
With cross dressing and improved my overall mental health.

I now feel very comfortable here.
I enjoy welcoming mew members,
I post an occasional thread on many of the discussion groups
I finally figured out the photo link business
And the Writers society is my favorite spot, very spiritual.

But what I really like are the friends I’ve met here.
We are all so similar in many respects
And I feel a close connection with many of you,
Although I only know you by this web site.

What I would like is to say this to all of the visitors who peruse this site

“Join now today tonight.
Become part of our family.
Enjoy this site ‘s real potential, make your 10 posts,
comment in the different forums and
Then you will be able to explore this site.
Your life and the lives of those around you will benefit.
It takes a little effort,
Oh my,
But how it is worth it.
Its helped me and I’m sure many others.”

Rebecca, you most likely did NOT grow up a Transvestite! The word "Transvestite" was coined by the media many years ago to describe young homsexual men who dressed as women for the purpose of having sex with men! A "Crossdresser" is one who dresses in the clothing of the opposite sex merely for the fun of it. Although given the number of women who commonly dress in men's clothing for the "look" maybe the other definition doesn't fit!

In any event you were, and are now a "glamourous" CD! May the clothing spirit be with you!!:hugs:

I agree it's merely for the fun. Sometimes the feel and more often than not the stress releif. dk
