Hi I met with my Therapists today and talked about going on hormones to do so I need to meet with a Endocrinologist and I am not sure how to find one that maybe specializes in trans patients or has experience in the field. I live in Maryland in the Baltimore area and am willing to travel some. So does anyone know of one in the Baltimore area that they had a good experience with and can help me start hormone therapy soon. Thank you for any help you can give me. :)

Google, or find some trans friends from your area.

OMG dear, are you kidding? Baltimore must be LOADED with endocrinologists. Just open the phone book.

I am surprised that your therapist doesn't recomend one. Most gender therapists have a working relationship with an endo, as they should be involved in the rest of your transition.

If you have to find one on your own, just start calling. Not all endos are familiar with gender issue. All you do is ask, hon.

Lovies,
Stephenie

I just put these links up in a similar thread. Just call down the list until you get a "yes!":
