As only an Erin would think of things, yes, go head and groan now....

What if one of us TG were to have this chat with a straight guy -

CD to guy - Are you wearing men's clothes?

Guy - Yes

CD - Umm, OK, why do you do that? Are you straight?

Guy - Yes

CD - what does your family think?

Guy - they don't say anything really...

CD - Do you go to straight clubs or bars?

Guy - (whatever answer)

CD - Hey I work with this straight guy named John, do you know him?

Guy - No

CD - Well you know whatever someone wants to wear is fine, I don't know
why a man would want to wear men's clothes...

Guy - It just feels more comfortable, it's who I am.

CD - Have you ever thought of or actually dated a woman?

Guy - Yes, I have several times.

CD - I can only imagine the boredom of being a guy wearing men's clothes in public.

Guy - Well no one really says anything, I do get some bored looks but that is about it.

CD - So, do you actually want to BE a man?

Guy - I never think about it, I know some people want to be their birth gender but I don't worry much about it.

CD - What did your family say the first time they found out you were a guy?

Guy - Well, I don't remember cause i was 10 seconds old but I think they said "Aww,a son, congradulations, new parents".

Mmmm, OK did I leave out any of the regular and cliche questions that we have all heard?

Yes, that is funny. Turn-about is fair play. Actually, turned about some of those questions are even more ridiculous than when we are asked them.

You missed one question that I seem to get, strangely enough, more often from women than men -- "How the hell do you walk in those shoes?"

Your posting brings to mind a short story written by Charles Beaumont in 1955.

Basically heterosexuality has been outlawed and there is a hetero couple in hiding, trying to stay together against the rules of society.. It is an excellent story. Even more since it was written almost 55 years ago.

I found this Facebook writeup on the story:

Not infrequently, I am asked many of the questions.

Q. Why are you wearing women's clothes?

A. These aren't women's clothes. They are mine. I paid for them.

Q. Do you like men or women?

A. Only women. Are you interested?

Q. How do you expect to meet women dressed like that?

A. I met you, didn't I.

Q. Are those women's shoes?

A. See answer to first question.

Q. How do you walk in those shoes?

A. Practice, practice, practice.

Q. What are you wearing under that skirt?

A. Bad girl.

It is funny but do you actually think a man could feel that way and have enough consideration to continue the conversation. You've forgotten Men have no feelings.:heehee:
