Just complemented a woman I'd never seen before on her

I did this once to a woman and she asked if I had a make-up fetish, but this one just now thanked me and thought it wonderful that I noticed.

She admitted it was strange of a man to notice.

Another friend of mine - a gay male - said he pays attention to the way guys look at their fingernails... he said that women look at their fingernails with their fingers flared, palm facing away from them but guys close their hand like a loose fist, palm facing toward them - he said lots of times he guesses correctly if a guy is gay by how they look at their fingernails. Can't imagine that happened too often though ;) Anyway - since then, I've changed how I look at my fingers LOL

Eh, and women tend to look at their heels by standing one foot on tiptoe and looking down at it from behind, whereas guys usually just lift their entire foot off the ground and look there.

However, I know several straight guys who do the backwards heel thing, and I'm sure there are a number of exceptions for the other.... they really aren't very accurate methods.

Personally, I believe they mostly come from conditioning -- I.E., women get used to looking at their nails that way from applying nail polish, and wearing high heels makes one more inclined to do the heel thing.
