I've got all day today and tomorrow to dress, so naturally it's raining cats and dogs out and windy...the cute TV weatherwoman, standing outside under her umbrella, complained "My hair is stuck in my lipstick, that's what today will be like if you're a woman." After all, who in their right mind would want to go outside dressed as a woman on a day like this? Me! I was going to go with slacks, but they'll get soaked, so I think I'll try calf-length boots and a skirt that's shorter than my trenchcoat, bring it on!

I have always liked people who have positive attitudes and am a firm believer in the old saying, "if all you have are lemons, make lemonade".

Or anywhere in northern California. Go for it Cissy. I hope that your boots are waterproof.

Yep, although I've changed into sensible slacks and flats, gonna get back out there!

Your little rainstorm has now hit SoCal and if I were going out today, there's absolutely no question that it would be jeans and boots weather, a look I expect to see a lot of today.

As someone once said, "When life hands you lemons, make lemonade. Then find someone whom life has handed vodka and have a party."
