Made the Orchi appointment

After visiting my dr. and theripist, who both said I was a good candidate, I made an appointment to get an orchiectomy. As much as I wish it was a more progressive appt., it will have to do for now. Even though it is a step towards the right direction, I am still scared (which is not what I expected). Can anyone share your experiences?

I had one last Oct and realy it is a piece of cake. You will have some discomfort for a short while and then nothing. You will more than likly not be able to get an erection, but every one is differant. If you do not take any hormones, you will get hot flashes, but they only last a few minutes. The nut sack will shrival up to almost nothing, but for a while after the surgery you will fee a hard nob in each one. That is left from the surgery and will deminish after a while.
Best of luck and no... when you loose them your voice will not raise a couple of octives....
