How many of you girls take Yoga Class? I have been taking a Yoga Class for the past three months and attend a class that consists of all women including the instructor. I always wear women's capri pants and high-heeled sandals to the class and my toenails are always professionally pedicured and polished in a fire engine red color. Of course I remove the sandals before setting up my Yoga Mat. I don't wear makeup and don't try to pass. I am accepted as "one of the girls" and the instructor even refers to all of us as girls. It is really a wonderful experience and the Yoga has really increased by level of flexibility and relaxation. If you have not tried a Yoga Class, I highly recommend it. Just go and be one of the girls.

I practice yoga as well. If you haven't tried it then you should look up Bikram yoga--some would argue that it is not traditional yoga but it really is just beginner yoga poses in a 'hot' room. The heat the room to 105 with 50% humidity. You really get a workout including a aerobic workout.

It is fantastic for controlling your weight,

That's how it was for me when I took a class to lean to speak French. I was the only guy and the teacher kept addressing the class collectively as "ladies" :)

My wife and I did a couple of classes in yoga about 2 years ago. Again, I was the only guy in the class but only once did the female instructor say "ladies" to everyone and then she immediately apologized to me. I agree, it's a wonderful way to stay supple and it's particularly nice being in an all female environment. :)

I've been taking yoga classes for a few years now and I love it. It is hands-down the best thing I have done for myself. I haven't done any gender bending there - nor have any of the other 2-4 guys in each class I've taken, but I bet they'd be relatively accepting.

Yeah, I've been taking classes for a couple of years now also, and I also haven't done any gender-bending (yet?) :)
