New Personal Best: 20 minutes from shower to shoes

So I checked into my hotel tonight, "packed for two" and went downstairs for a free drink at the manager's reception (as a guy) and saw that the cutoff time for free drinks was 7:30...on a total whim I raced back to my room, and in 20 minutes I was out the door in a skirt, where the same bartender happily poured me another drink, maybe the tip hellped? I live for this! Who says business travel is a drag?

20 minutes from shower to shoes and out the door !!!! Good Lord it takes me that long to get a satisfactory shave, before I even begin the makeup.

Nope, that includes one coat of quick-dry nail polish (fingers, not toes) my outfit was a short-sleeve turtleneck and a wrap skirt, nylons and flats, and a chain belt and necklace...I'd already shaved down before I left, on the other hand I did include the time it took to organize my purse before I left and we all know how long that can take!

Wow, it takes me 20 minutes to just get the foundation correct. Some have natural beauty and for others beauty takes alot longer.

This morning I went down to breakfast in a denim jumper and knee sox, afterwards I went outside to have a ciggie and when I sat down on a cold metal bench, I didn't quite get my dress under me, WHOOPIE! That'll get your attention on a cold morning....
