Did anybody ever try on their mommy's makeup as a boy?
If I could go back, I sure would have!

I sure did! One of my earliest memories is standing in my mothers bedroom, standing in front of her mirror putting on her lipstick. She outed me a couple minutes later... :)

Oh yes! That was a really fun time. She had a great collection of makeup, and I'm glad that I learned early how to properly remove makeup without a trace. But, I think she had an idea that I was into her things, there was no sister to blame.

I never dare. But she surely noticed how I spent time looking at her amazed. There is when you learn to admire femininity and beauty. :)

I used to use a fair bit of her nail varnish i seem to remember . When asked about it once , i seem to recall a very lame excuse about running out of paint for my model airplanes .

quickly bought some of my own after that :D

but only lipsticks and nail polishes.

Even then I was very selective about which ones as I feared getting caught.

Occasionally now, at 38, I sometimes look, just to see what make-up she wears.

mother's makeup, girdle, wigs, shoes. Those are some of my favorite memories and they go back over 45 years. Older sister's stuff as well.

Only on a couple of occasions I tried on her lipstick and took it off as quickly as I put it on.

As a kid I was conflicted knowing I liked to put on my mothers lipstick, my sisters clothes and enjoyed playing baseball in the little league.

I did as a teenager, everytime I was left alone. Mom didn't have very good make-up though. No lipstick and no nail polish. Glad she did not have nail polish though, cause there is no way I could have resisted that.

It sure must have been fun!
I mean, all little girls play dress-up with their mother's things at some time, don't they? Why should they have all the fun?
And yes, I built model airplanes too, but I think painting my nails would have been more fun.

Since I missed out on that stage, at one industrial job I had, I painted my nails with some platinum ink that was $400 a bottle, never got caught, but you should have seen them gleam!

Only, the price of the platinum ink was different, they must not have gotten as good a deal as your company got :D

Once I worked in an industrial plant and had the chance to paint my fingernails with platinum ink at about $1500US a bottle, I just wanted to see what it would look like but then I didn't want to remove it so I had to hide my fingernails everywhere I went, it was really pretty but I could have been fired;was it worth it?

aged 38, if mother leaves her make-up bag open, I take a look, but never touch.
