Should be an interesting thread this one.

Novice or more experienced dressers preparation on going out. Including what to say should you be caught out (Clocked/ read or spotted etc)

Hot tips

If driving out dressed for the first time, or any time.

1) Always ensure you have a personal alarm.

2) Only ever take out your driving and house key. If you have other keys on you're key fob then leave them at home. Have another car key cut and hid somewhere out of sight on the exterior of the vehicle. Then on the unfortunate occasion should you find you've locked yourself out, then this second key would prove a life saver.

3) Take some cash out with you to cover fuel and other emergencies.

4) Automobile breakdown card and ideally mobile phone.

5) Carry a change back of clothes, unless your happy just to be dressed as you are.

6) If a policemen should stop you (please note I recide in the UK!) Then please be as cooperative with any police officer and carry out his request and keep polite. Don't give him a reason to give you a caution or worse. Also remember you are a representative of the tg/tv/cd community so behave with courtesy at all times. You will not be arrested for dressing, so long as you're polite and done nothing wrong when you were stopped say on a spot check, which believe me they like doing... then you really have nothing to fear. Dressing is NOT ILLEGAL.

I will add updates: PLease add more yourselves... make this a good points archive...ok..

To beginners, knowing what to say should a being clocked or read emergency come there way, will help gain a novice dresser a new found confidence to face their new lifestyle.

A chap asks you out - Ideal reply to get you off the hook, "thanks love, but no thanks!, or Thanks love, but i prefer female company. If all else fails say I have just been at a friends private fancy dress party. hope one of these get out's work for you.

Your caught short and need the toilets. You have stopped at a public toilets ok.. now what. You have a choice here what do you do.

Go in the gents.. ah nope! could be molested.... beaten up etc... definate nope.
Ladies ah maybe.. If you decide this one, get in and do you thing, get back out as quick as possible and definently do NOT loiter for any reason. I know loads of women and they know me now. I have used ladies toilets and as they have got to know me, they really don't mind... Just remember when in the toilet, close the cubicle door and lock it, do your job, then out asap... be careful, be sensible and do not give reason for trouble to result.

One more to add.. there was a story of a man in femme mode at the airport, decided to get a photo ID with a female "M" on it, then lied about his true identity.. I don't know what happened, but I"m sure with the status of national security he either got fined, jailed, or both. ALWAYS COOPERATE and never fake an ID (unless you only intend to use it in a bar)
