Unexpected doorbell ring and I'm wearing black thigh highs, shorts and strappy sandals with painted toes.

I'm so comfy being myself, I answer the door to the Fed Ex guy.

I realize at the same moment that I'm partially dressed, but at this point, what am I to do?

He has me sign for the letter and wishes me a goodnight.

It's only after I closed the door what just happened.

He either didn't notice or didn't care. I don't mind either way.:)

I hosted brother in laws and nephews this weekend and wore tights and no socks all day today! Not a word or comment, may have noticed but a confidence builder none the less.:D

I'm shure the Fed-X noticed but, he has probably seen it all and nothing suprises him any more.

I guess one confidence builder at a time. I'll take them as I get them.:)

True, and he probably wanted to just finish his route and get home. BUT, I am sure he will mention it to his fellow workers. Have always wondered about that - once the word is out, and the next time they deliver and you're not dressed....

I've thought about that, but since Kaelyn is in the closet still, I figure as long as it's only strangers who know... what the heck?

I'm sure when they are off of work and go hang out, they share their stories of people opening doors and the things they see. We do the same here when people don't know how to run up our equipment and its the simplest thing..too funny

Delivery guys come here, I've answered the door fully CD'd from the neck down (no makeup, no wig). I couldn't care less what they think.

Ah, to be at the point in my own head where I don't care what anyone thinks. That is truly the goal of goals! God bless you girls for being who you are, for you inspire me, and I love you for it! :)

Darling he just wanted to finish his route. I have seen it posted so many times and it is true "everyone is so wrapped up in their busy lives they don't have time to worry about the cute guy with the great legs in heels."

I hope he was bringing you something pretty and frilly.

I think you made his day, maybe his week. If nothing else, he's smiling, and that's a good thing.

Well, I was a Pizza Hut delivery person for several years down on the west coast of Florida, and believe me, any delivery person has probably seen it all. I know I sure have. Some things even made me a little frazzled, but crossdressers were an every day occurance for me, thus no big deal.

We get so wrapped up in enjoying ourselves, that at times we forget where we are. More than once I have taken the trash out, wearing only a negligee and housecoat and only realised coming back in what the neighbours would say if they had seen me. But do I really care - not in a month of Sundays !!!!!!!!!

As long as he still values his job, he cant say one bad word to you..he's only there to deliver your package & go about his way..
So, no worries..:)

But as for what he tells his buddies,,,,, That's a whole nother story..

It wasn't a sheer nightie so it wasn't worth a second look. I was a mailman on foot for thirty years some people just want to shock you if they can.

I answered the door as Evie for the mailman bringing "Marc" a certified letter I had to sign for, after the first fraction of a second I just acted as naturally as I could and even sent him off with a "have a good day sweetie…"

He didn't smile :o

It's all in the attitude -- just act as if being seen CD'd is the most natural thing in the world (if indeed it isn't).

Been away for a bit, but thanks for the affirmations. I think he noticed but didn't seem to care and so what anyways.
This could become an addiction.:o

Yep, but it makes the day interesting for the poor bloke.
I call it a win-win situation. :battingeyelashes:

Some years ago, I had the same kind of thing happen with a UPS guy. He and I became "friends" and I still see him once in awhile. Willow

Well I guess you certainly brighten up his day. Don't worry about it honey. Just have a good laugh and let it build up your confidence. I admire you for it.
