Ok I was out today I tried on some girls jeans at pennys. I snuck them over to the mens department to try them on. I put one pair on it was a size 16 it was a bit loose but then I looked down and the jeans came just about over my shoes. They were quit comfortable though. But I was wondering does girl jeans come in length size? I didnt see any on the ones I tried on. Whats going on with that do any of you ladies know? First time girly jean wearer here. Angie

Angie,
Girls jeans come in three basic lengths... petites, average and talls...if your 5'5" or less you may need petites... if your 5'5" to 5'9" than try average... if your over 5'9" try talls. basically...petites are 28 inch inseams... average is 30 inch and talls are 32"
hope this helps

Angie remember one thing when buying womens pants or slacks etc. The inseam(sp? hey i'm tired) is measured different from a guys pants. The sizes usually work around that. This is measured on the inside of the leg from your "you know what" to the bottom. It does make a difference when buying and wearing womens jeans.

Don't worry if the sizes appear to be crazy. It happens to me when I even buy my guy clothes.

Womens talls can also be 34" inseam. Pennys had jeans and slacks in ultra talls with 35 and sometimes 36" inseam. However I believe the jeans are cataloge/web only as I've never seen them in the stores locally. Good rule of thumb, if you want to cover your heels at that length to your pant size (2" heel, 36" instead of 34" etc..). That way, you can wear your heels in public as well and they dont show near as much!

I love my femme jeans. I wear a 32" inseam, mens or womens. The thing is, women's fit nicer, closer but not tighter, stretchy, snug around your buns without being uncomfortable. wenda
