Going on a trip...

This is a first for me, I'll will be travelling to see my daughter for this week of thanksgiving. I will be travelling as myself for the first time, fully presenting as a woman for my plane trip down, my trip back and the entire time while down in Atlanta. I have carry papers from my therapist for possible issues etc, but hope not to need them. While I'm away on vacation, my company will be making the announcement to their employee's about my transition and that upon my return on December 1st are to call me by my new legal name Kimberly or Kim. They did make a change to the rest room policy, initially they said I could use any of the womens rooms, but some people got wind of the news and objected. With discussion with an EEOC representative, one of the restrooms will be designated a unisex restroom with a lock on it for me to use. The EEOC rep said they have found this the best way to deal with this issue. So the next week will have lots of new things for me..

I hope to visit with some sisters in Atlanta possibly, looking forward to my trip... Kimberly :battingeyelashes:
