Of all your female paraphernalia, if there were a fire and you could only grab one thing, what would it be? For me, it would be my Renee of Paris "Shannon" wig, which besides being the most expensive is the most special to me, it really changed my life in terms of self-confidence, I just love the way it looks and feels, and it would be the hardest to replace. What's your most treasured possession?

I'd have to grab all of the disks' my pics are on. Can't replace them! But, I know you're looking for a different answer, and none of my "stuff" worth much, but for sentimental reasons, I'd take the first pair of heels I bought.$19.99 Target specials! They kind of sealed the deal for me, couldn't go out without shoes, right? And the rest, is history:battingeyelashes:

As with any construction project, I'd have to say the foundation, and in my case as a crossdresser that would be my $165 each mastectomy breast forms along with the collection of my $50 each Jodee bras. I was professionally fitted for the size and shape of my forms and am very satisfied. I have been complimented many times by sales ladies saying how nice they look, and they even have that nice "bounce" when I walk. Guys sure look at them, too.
Second on the list would be my wig.

It would have to be my breast forms. They change my self image faster than anything else I own. There are some bras I also grab, just because of the colors.

You mean in regards to crossdressing, I assume. :) I already mentioned a couple of my precious skirts in another thread – I could choose one of those, I guess, but I’ll think sideways a bit this time and say my pair of embroidered red shoes. These shoes are extremely feminine, beautiful in color and texture, and highly symbolic of all I hold dear. I’ll take those with me, but I also have a favorite wig I would certainly have trouble parting with, along with nearly everything else in my closet…

My favourite pair of black boots as I can build a whole new wardrobe around them.

Boy you get me thinking, I was going to say my computer first, I really do not like missing the forum in the morning. But I will put the laptop in the RV. So that will be taken care of. I guess the next thing would be .................... My brain hurts, I could never choose one thing. I would be devistated.

I would have to say my blue Cache' dress. I don't buy much at full retail, mostly a thrift store girl. But I spotted this dress in the mall last Fall and just couldn't get it out of my mind. I went back a week later and had them special order my size (damn small girl shops! lol). I spent almost $200 on it but the way it fits, and the way it makes me feel was worth it! I've only worn it out a few times but that and another Cache' dress I got for $15 (more my price range) really make me feel sexy and feminine. You can't put a price tag on that!!

Presuming I had enough time to get one "girl" thing. (after I've made sure wife and grandson are safe and I've grabbed the insurance papers in the "fire box safe" ) I'd get my forms. Much too expensive to replace, besides I don't think the insurance adjuster would allow it.

Yep, I meant one "girl thing" AFTER the cat or dog, precious papers, golf clubs, etc :) great answers, got me to thinking more, the second thing I'd save: my silicone breast forms, like Jennifer said they changed my life!

Well none of it is too important to me as losing it would mean I get to go SHOPPING for all new stuff, and even though the insurance company probably would not pay for it would just have to forgo some of my man clothes which would be ok with me. My most important thing would be the only 8 x 10 picture of my mother. Breast forms would come in a distant 2nd

I knew my answer right away.
I'd save my breast forms and if possible the pocket bra that works with them. Even if the fire happened while I was out, and I came home to a blazing inferno, I'd run in after them.
(In my best Bond villain voice) I'm quite, "attached," to them, muhuhahaha.

The black tiered, ruffled taffeta skirt I have on in my profile pictures.
This was a one-of-a-kind on Ebay.
Everything I can replace, but not that.

After I tried to get my personal papers, photos and a few paintings out of the house (plus my computer CPU box), I would have to say my teardrop breast forms and wigs. I know that is more than one item, but Allie consists of much more than one item of camoflage! I would hate to lose all of my thrift store treasures and I do have a lot of those.

My Amoena breast forms for sure...at nearly $500 the pair I'd be sure to take them with me.
My photos are all backed up off site and the clothes...well, that just means more shopping...:daydreaming:

lol it's manly and feminine all at the same time. Nobody looks in it so it's easy to hide. Don't do much fishing though...

I'm actually surprised how easy this question is to answer. It's the ring (http://tukatapo.pp.fi/pictures/ringpaper.jpg) my grandfather had given to my grandmother years ago. After the death of my grandfather my grandmother gave the ring to me.
I simply love the ring over anything of all the things that I have.

For me it would have to be my favorite bra. I love the way it makes me look without forms and is so comfortable and I can wear it without forms and still look good.

Easy one, a pair of earings that were my sister's before she passed away. They are gold flowers with a small diamond in the center.

Well, my most prized possesion is not anything girly. It's my Factory Five Cobra. 525hp at the rear wheels baby!!! Sorry, but that IS my most prized.

Assuming you mean cd item: it would have to be my very full black petticoat. Just love how it feels.

Yep, I meant one CD item...as much as I cherish my wig and breastforms, if it was a choice between them and my Vega banjo, they're gonna burn, baby!

How do you grab just one. I would have to take the computer. All my pics are in it and I have clothes everywhere and wouldn't be without.

I go along with that. My Porsche. All my girly stuff, well, I've learned where to buy it, and it's easy to replace. Not my car; I have too many hours of hard work put into it, and while I could replace it with enough money, another car just would never be the same. For while I feel 'normal' in girl garb, It doesn't matter what I'm wearing when I'm behind the wheel; the rest of the world just doesn't matter when you're taking the curves at twice the limit on a sunny Sunday morning.

The shoes my sister sent me after I came out to her. Everything else I could replace if it burned.

I had to say the car because I do not have one girly thing that would be prized. It's either all or nothing. I could not just pick one girly thing.
