An amazing day out!!

Hey girls!

Had an amazing day out yesterday, got dressed up and went shopping for the day!!

Got my outfit sorted before, and am so happy with it!!!

Went around loads of shops, and it felt amazing!! I was nervous, but everytime i felt nervous or paranoid i just kept saying to myself "i'm a confident young woman!" and that seemed to work!

I felt so feminine and was loving walking around the shops, didn't even notice anyone else! (altho prob got loads of 'thats a man' looks!). Especially loved the sounds of boots walking around town!!

Bought a few things, and felt on such a high i even sat and had a coffee while reading a girly magazine for an hour!!

Was an amazing day, and days like that just make me want to get out more and more! (everyday! lol )

(it was windy and my hair was blowing everywhere!!)

Just wanted to share it with you all!

One tip i would add - when parking the car, just before you are about to get out and hit the town, i would say to make sure u get out the second u've parked - as before i've sat in the car for a few minutes and this makes the nerves a lot worse!! Just get out there and shop!!

Wow what a cute look! I rememer the first two weeks of transition. Like soo many of you I was scarred to go out. I found salvation and courage from a man who died many years ago. He created this wonderful wiskey and it is called Jack Daniels. Needless to say a shot or two before going out always helped with the nervous issue. Thankfully after a couple weeks I no longer needed his help.

I don't think people were thinking, "That's a man." I think they were instead thinking, like I was when I saw your pictures, "Wow, she's cute! Nice sweater. I love her boots!" and other complimentary things. You're right on target on the "get out of the car quickly" thing. The longer you think about it, the longer you think about it. I use the time after I park my car to check my makeup in the mirror and refresh my lip gloss. I find that it helps me sink into my girly side much easier and then I can't wait to get out of the car and start shopping!
