When you see a beautiful woman in a victorias secret or frederics of hollywood clothing catalog dressed in sexy lingerie do you feel drawn to the catalog and need to view every page admiring their beauty and studying their feminine appeal?

Do you feel a need to explore your femme side when you see such attractive women wearing very sensual and sexy clothing?

How do you handle your dual conflict of masculine/feminine worlds when you see such beautiful women in such feminine clothing?

Do you find their feminine appeal in those bras and panties makes you want to order that same set so you could enjoy the look and feel that they seem so natural at expressing?

Did you think that a great deal of victorias secret and federics of hollywood catalogs are mailed to guys also?

Who is your favorite fashion model?

Do you like to buy womens/girls magazines at the supermarket to get tips on dressing?

If so, which magazines do you like to buy?

My, you're the inquisitive type aren't you?

When you see a beautiful woman in a victorias secret or frederics of hollywood clothing catalog dressed in sexy lingerie do you feel drawn to the catalog and need to view every page admiring their beauty and studying their feminine appeal?
Well, here is the land of Oz, we don't get those catalogues! To answer your question, no i don't! I actually look at what they're wearing which is far more interesting! The models are usually too skinny for my liking.

Do you feel a need to explore your femme side when you see such attractive women wearing very sensual and sexy clothing?
Nope! I'm comfotable with who i am and what i can be.

How do you handle your dual conflict of masculine/feminine worlds when you see such beautiful women in such feminine clothing?
Jealousy! From both the drab and femme points of view!

Do you find their feminine appeal in those bras and panties makes you want to order that same set so you could enjoy the look and feel that they seem so natural at expressing?
The models could be manaquins for all i care. Yes, you get a better appreciation of the lingerie and how it looks when worn, but that's all i'm concerned about really.

Did you think that a great deal of victorias secret and federics of hollywood catalogs are mailed to guys also?
It's probably the SO's & GF's who arrange to have the catalogues sent to their men as a subtle hint they want something special?

Who is your favorite fashion model?
Wouldn't have a clue!

Do you like to buy womens/girls magazines at the supermarket to get tips on dressing?
Very rarely - i'm not a fashion slave to the magazines.

If so, which magazines do you like to buy?
Whatever gets my attention at the time

I can't get enough of seeing the beautiful girls in their sexy lingerie in those catalogs! They are the very essence of femininity and beauty. How can you not admire that!

I like to dress up when I can and certainly am more prone to do so after going through those catalogs.

I feel the attraction to both the sexy models and also wish to try on the clothes they model as well. That is a conflict!

For sure I want to wear the same bra and panties they wear! How could you not want to wear them. It amazes me that not everyone wishes to wear such sexy outfits! I certainly do!

I would guess their are a lot of guys on the mailing list.

My favorite fasion model is Petra Nemcova. She's very beautiful and very couragious after surviving that devastating tsunami tragedy and I feel bad about her losing her fiance. She is an inspiration and a very beautiful woman!

Sometimes I'll buy Glamour to see the latest styles. When I was a younger crossdresser I would buy Sassy.

Emmi, my understanding is that the VS catalogue is sent to 2/3 men, Frederick's to 75 or 80%. In my youth, when things were pretty tame, the Frederick's catalogue was the most daring (and easily obtained) softcore many guys could get their hands on, and it was a bit more fetish-oriented than today. I know the tastes of some of my contemporaries and a little older, were heavily influenced by that catalogue!

& the magazines? I read voraciously but I can't afford to subscribe to all the fine mags I enjoy, but I try to get Elle, Vogue, W and Bazaar as often as I can.

I discovered years ago that the beautiful women weren't in Playboy (or Penthouse, or what-have-you) but in the fashion mags! In this month's Elle, there are more dreamy, drop-dead-gorgeous heartbreakers than in the last two years of Playboy! And I used to savor the girls from the standpoint of wanting them and wanting to be with them; I can now appreciate another dimension of women that makes me love 'em more, that is, wanting to be them!

If I didn't check out the fashon mags, I would not now be haunted by worries like which bank will I have to knock over in order to possess that scrumptious D&G skirt? Or that Missoni halter dress? Aaah, life is now complete! ;)

...and of course, all the PANTIES! :p

So many questions you have, young dresshopper..... and everyone knows how much trouble i have restraining my keyboard.... but i'm working on it.

Oh - the thread. Let's pick a few:

Yes - catalogs - very sensual reading. I used to collect them & build a binder of images when i was young and foolish. Now, I goto their websites & save all the .jpgs they have online, then build slideshows to amuse Rhonda&Lynn when I'm bored. Yes - viewing the images, and seeing women wearing attractive apparel, usually fuels my urge to open the barn doors & let the girls go.

However, I haven't shopped at either of the mentioned establishments in years. VS is too high, and FOH doesn't carry styles that match my taste. I mainly frequent OneHanesPlace.com (for thigh-highs, panties, maybe a bra), lurk around at online auctions for bargains on clothing (skirts, blouses & stuff), and hit the local shops for lingerie & things of that sort - i like to browse through Lingerie departments and adminre the women there as they shop for their intimate apparel.
JCPenney has some really attractive outfits at their site, but they are of course, a bit overpriced for a mostly-home-bound dresser w/ occasional escapes. I mainly go there to admire the models, check on current trends, & collect jpgs.

Conflicting worlds: none here - we all live in a yellow wrap skirt. We all seem to get along ok - for all things there is an equal yet opposite force to balance it. One should seek the ultimate balance in all things mental to maintain said mental health.

Do I ever find myself envious of a woman based on her clothing, and find myself desiring to 'be her' and order the same outfit. Yes, this has ocurred - quite recently in fact, but it is not a common thing for us to have specific urges - only the general equal rights of expression in our mind.
The other day was quite enjoyable though, when a woman, her sensuality, her silk tank top & bra, the shape of her breasts, literally overcame me. I thought about her for days.

Generally - I see women in hose - i like hose. In skirts, blouses, dresses, basic lingerie, bras, etc. I like these things. I enjoy the experience when Rhonda wears them. Rhonda prefers wrap skirts over dresses - they're modular and are much easier to navigate. She prefers thigh-highs over stockings or pantyhose. Not much for lace - she's a nylon girl alltheway.

Mail-Order Catalogs: Yes, many subscribers, probably 50% or so, are men. Men are attracted to women in attractive clothing. I used to have a VS catalog subscription - left it on my desk @ work every month - it was a GG magnet - they would flock into my office & browse through the lingerie - it was a positive experience forme.

You know, I believe my interest in women's lingerie can be tracked back to a large Sears catalog or something - back when kids didn't have access to 'reference material' on female anatomy - I used to check 'em out in the Sears catalog !!!!!!!!! AHA!

Do I pickup tips on fashion, styles, & dressing from magazines. No. I learn through observation of my favorite species - the human female GG in the wild (in the office mostly, i guess).

Dunno if i got 'em all or not, but as usual, my 12-word sentence has become a paperback novel. Later, girls.

I find the women in these things interesting, but for only a moment. Though physically beautiful, their personality is buried somewhere. Similarly, runway models, though often appealing to my eye, are soon a turn-off with their zombie-like faces. (I understand that this non-human guise is just that, designed to not compete with the clothing.)
Quite often when I see a woman in a, say, newspaper photo, I find her far more interesting than almost anyone in a catalog. If her body is trim, I often wonder what it would be like for me to live in it for a while.
PS. The women in Lands End catalogs are an exception to the body-only poses: the models are beautiful inside, too, and show it!

One of my many long-standing arguments with my former wife was whether the mags, catalogs and the fashions themselves are devised by men, although women conform to them...Women, she felt, are forced into these various fashion modes by men, who get them to wear desirous clothing, make-up and them pose them with the male eye in mind.
I would counter that whether devised by men or women, the women waqnt these mags and fashion trends, etc...so that they are up to date and can attract the male.,..etc. etc. think i have made myself clear enough.

My viewing of the mags, and women in general, were, I thought, purely from a male perspective....But after my cd "realization" I see I am also checking out styles and how things are worn.
On to your questions:
I think and just my guess, for me, it's legs first, face next, pose then outfit.
No need to expllore, since I am probably looking at them in my skirt.
Would like the same look, but i am sometimes a realist.
Whether mailed to men or not, we certainly get our hands on them.
All fashion models are my favorites.
Just look at covers in supermarkets and hope it takes a long time for the clerk to get to me.
Like Elle,Who and anything else with nice pictures. I use them for collages ;)

Dana, there's no real competition here: you're beautiful and real; they're actors.
I wasn't sure if your posted photo was from the catalog, at first, then I saw that that was your avatar, too. You're a knock-out! Yes!

She's a quick study and a worthy teacher!
