What is the one bit of girlwear you ladies want more than any other?

For me, it is a minidress like my 1:6 scale alter-ego wears (only in 1:1 scale of course.)

Here's a pickie.

I don't have it yet, but am desparate to get one. My ex wife said she could make it as she likes sewing, but there is no way she'd do it for me!

In fact, i would like to have an entire wardrobe of this period custume clothing. I find it intriguingly 'quaint'.

What do think huh?

it's got to be 1950's style.
Full skirt, petticoats, seamed stockings and suspenders, twinset, pearls, beehive hairdo, drop earrings and white stilettoes.
"Panda" style mascara, and a red slash of lipstick!

Oh yes, oh yes, oh yes!!!

(by now you may realise i have given some previous thought to this subject!)

Well now we are going somewhere! I do not have anything like that, but would loooooove to get into some! what a night it could be!!!!
Christine, my wife sews for a peasants living. You should talk to her about what you want. (she is alright for a girl) she might just be able to help out. She knocked an outfit up for me last Melbourne cup day, that any who saw me in it wanted to know where I got it! :D

No, Granny shoes Tristen, I found a photo of a original pair for sale, and the photo got all lost and now I can't find where they were :( ............... They had about 2 -3 heel, and a cute ribbon design on them.

I'm going to have another look ;)

Chinese silk dresses totally adorable but for me anyway nearly unwearable, still squeeze into mine once in a while

Yes I like those as well Toyah ;) Never owned one or even worn one, but they do have a nice style.

I think this threads a bit like the "Pick 3 Favourite Movies", really immpossible becuase there's too much choice.
You look for something that fits with you're ideal outfit and think "yes" thats the one and then 5 minuites later you see something else that makes you think "hold on I like that one as well".
Must admit though I have a real passion for late Victorian and Edwardian styles. Not very practical though, I don't think they would help to blend in at the local Tescos.

You know Julia I didn't know who you meant, so I just looked it up to find it was a 'Little Britain' character (I've never seen the programme).
Anyway there was a member on another site who used her as an avatar, and up untill now I had no idea that it wasn't the members actual photo :)

I just remembered another "grail" that I would love to have, but I know that it would never happen in this lifetime. That would be one of these red, gold, and green numbers Boy George's little 19th Century vixens are sporting in these screen captures:

This would have been more suiting with my old avatar but...

I want a fetish version of Dorothy's dress:
http://www.broadwaycostumes.com/images/shows/wizard-of-oz/dorothy-zoom.jpg

Corseted - maybe sheer instead of the white part - maybe white fishnet? A little choker (with a D ring). Maybe even do the whole thing in gingham-printed latex LOL The skirt would either be very short and cheerleader-ish OR long and tight with a slit up to "just too high".

With stiletto pumps covered with "ruby" like...

These:

Plus these:

Not that I've thought about it at all ;)
