Ok so I had a friend over to watch some football. I usually clear my history before he comes over as I'm rather paranoid but it was kinda sudden so I forgot. Anyway I got drunk and passed out I think he did too as he drank about 20 or so 12 oz cans of beer. I saw him about 5am and said damn I missed the game he said me too. I had wet myself so took my cloths off and got in bed and covered up. Then about 5:30 I think he said he is going home. Thing is he left his Yahoo open that told his wife he was leaving at 10am. Later I noticed the history showed that my posting statistics had been viewed about 6am. So guess he did not leave and decided to be nosy. I haven talked to him since Sun at 5:30 am should I be worried he knows and hates me, will out me, or maybe he don't care. I had to say that sorry it's long. Would hate to lose a friend.

Some people don't, won't, and don't WANT to understand... They were never your friends to begin with if that's the case. Hopefully he'll be understanding or maybe won't care. Or maybe he has similar habits. Either way, I wouldn't sweat it too much. It is what it is.

Hey Girl!

Sorry to be blunt about it but if he can't accept you for who you are then he is no friend. I had a friend a while ago who I thought was the best friend in the world. But the second he found out he stopped talking to me, and we havnt talked since.

Its sad when it happens :hugs: but it would probally be for the better. Who knows, maybe he thought he dreamt it while drunk :P

Lots of Love,
Miss Kara

I agree with the others...a true friend would keep the secret. A truer friend would not have violated your privacy in the first place.

If he does out you, perhaps it will end up being a blessing instead of a curse. If he doesn't, then at least you know he's a friend. :)

Only a good friend would not care (or care enough to talk about it and not make judgements). Lets just hope that he will be at least tolerent if not accepting.

Yes i'd echo what others say,,,,it may not be the way you would want your friend to find out, but if he does know, and won't or can't accept you for who you are,,,how much do you want this friend?

Geez, did he go through your wallet, closet, and medicine cabinet too? I'm not sure what kind of friend this is. In this day and age snooping is snooping, computer of otherwise.

I'd say let it be, and move on.

Try Firefox Private Browsing. It won't save any data while you're using it.

Sorry to hear about your friend being nosy, maybe it might work out.

Meh, I wonder if you are just getting tired of the effort to hide?

How rude of him to snoop like that. I would be wondering if you even want that sort of friend. Hard to say what his reaction will be though. Guess you have to wait and see. :(

Now let's not jump to conclusions about the friend. With most browsers, when you type something in the address, it tries to auto-complete what you're typing. He might have typed in something that made his browser auto-complete with an address that amounted to the browsing history. It sounds far-fetched, but it does happen. That's how I found out that the girl I dated recently is addicted to porn. >_> I wasn't snooping, but the computer just obligingly popped up that info for me. :P

1 Turn of your computer or make it password protected.

2 I'd drink less beer, that way you wouldn't pass out and wet yourself.

3 Put on some lipstick you'll feel better fast

Did you log out 1st? I thought once you log out the cookies get cleared. Plus you have to be a member here to see one's profile so its not like he has enough info to link you to this site. I hope he talks to you soon.

*Try Ccleaner, it gets rid of history, autocomplete and cookies for every browser thats installed on your pc.*

Mine (Thinkpad) boots me off after about 10 minutes of inactivity. I don't loose anything, but I do have to log back on.

I am saddened to hear your "friend" chose to invade your privacy.

Internet explorer 8 has private browsing options. Nothing is saved once you close the browser

I wonder about our priorities, when so many of the replies simply ignored the excessive drinking and focused on privacy. Alcohol abuse is vastly more dangerous than cross-dressing. Don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it.

None of my business, just offering an observation.

I would talk about this with your friend. I simply think it's very rude to access someones else computer without asking for a permit to do so. Plus he was also looking through your history which I cannot understand at all. What you have done is none of his business unless you actually want to tell him about it. So have a talk with your friend there isn't a way out of this without you talking with him sooner or later. You can't avoid him for the rest of your life, can you?

Only a good friend would not care (or care enough to talk about it and not make judgements). Lets just hope that he will be at least tolerent if not accepting.

A good friend wouldn't look into your private data without asking you first anyway. It's simply not their business. They wouldn't have any trouble accepting you the way you are either.

This just happens to be a forum about crossdressing and not about alcohol abuse so it is rather understandable that people don't focus on the alcohol part. I'm not saying that alcohol abuse is something good or anything one should seek for. Looking at the beginning post it doesn't seem that he has an alcohol problem. The issue he is having with is clearly to something else.

Finally, I think it's none of our business of taking care how much alcohol he drinks. We don't know him personally; we don't know how much he actually drinks which makes it impossible to judge if he actually has a problem with alcohol or not. Therefore I don't think we should even interfere with this matter at all. Not to mention that he hasn't even asked help for this matter.

He may have been so under the influence , at least part drunk, that no doubt, his judgment was impaired. Nobody that smashed, will have good judgment, and he would do things, that he would not do sober. 20 drinks!!!? Oh boy!

Hopefully your friend did not invade your privacy. If he did and can't accept what he might have seen, then he is no true friend, and it is his loss.
I provide a "clean" computer for those people who need to use one while here.

Or Google Chrome Privacy Mode.

I like the posts. If he is that nosy and is going to betray your trust, not much of a friend.

On the other hand, I told my best friend a long time ago and he was completely cool with it.

I'm hoping it's the second one for you, hun.

Seems either he doesn't know or he's a friend. Have you thought of raising the subject with him in afairly light manner to see if he would be receptive?

You mean ask him what he would do if his friend wanted to dress as a female ?
