Ok, Lately I've been seeing ALOT of threads/pic threads something along the lines of "Do you think I pass?". This is a CD forum so its not really necessary, but there are some who feel the need to go out and be as stealth as possible.

Well folks remember its not just about looks its about presentation. I have proposed some links to help guide you all.

These tips are for everyone even if you don't choose to go out. No discrimination.

Yeah.. Rhyme Tyme.. Thanks for the Lynks!! "Passing" threads are the new "Pantie" threads. I'm kind of missing panty threads right now.. Passing is over rated, in my humble opinion.

I am beginning to wonder with all this passing stuff (nearly put something else there):heehee: does this mean us lesser mortals should just stay in doors

Passing is all about doing, and no matter how many links you list, and how much you read (and how much smoke others blow up your @@@@ about your pictures) The only time you will truely truely know you pass, is when you walk out of the door and do it.

ie owning a Haynes manual, doesn't make you a Car Mechanic!!!

Thats why I hope those (who care to pass) read this and understand its presentation and attitude before making another thread.

joanne you are by no means a lesser mortal. I'm sorry not trying to single anyone out here just trying to help those who have the desire to go out present themselves and feel confident (even the ones that choose to stay in can read the make up tips.) Going out doesn't make anyone better a you just as beautiful in your own home.

Passing may be over rated to you. It's not a part time deal for me and I just want to be able to go about my daily life in much the same way that you are able while in drab, but with a teeny little spin. I don't want to just blend in. I want to pass right up close and personal.:heehee:

Amen Sister! As usual, you are right on!

I'm growing a little weary of anti-passing jabs. Them as want to be seen as "sissy" or as "guy in a dress," or who are after public shock, well, that's up to them. But we don't owe you our passing either.

Although I am not full-time, like you Kelly, I live in a world where my real life is up close and personal and in order to be who I am I'd damn well better pass, every time.

Yes, it is possible. No, it doesn't come easy -- at all. And there are a lot of us doing it every day of the week. Maybe you can't see us precisely because we do pass.

I am guessing that by saying "attitude" that you mean.... I don't care what other people think. That may help you pass in your own mind, but take your attitude out on the road and see if those you hope to pass with clock you or not. You can bend and shape the definition of passing to fit your own personal idea, but if you use passing in the literal wouldn't the definition be..to not be read?

I am also curious about how you define "presentation". Could you indulge me?

If these "passing" threads really bother you why not just "pass" them by? Or is that what you meant when you said that you refuse to "pass"?

Mandy,
I think this is GREAT information. Thank you!

Ditto. And to those that don't like passing threads, just pass them! There are some here who don't wear makeup but I haven't read any complaints from them about all the makeup threads. Thanks Mandy

Always good to have all the tips you can find to help in making a more complete you. For me, the voice is the toughest aspect of passing, and while passing is probably not that important, I like the challenge and fun of trying to make myself as passable as possible. Thanks for the links Mandy...:)
