I have seen where if you go on hormone therapy that you could lose the ability to get an erection..............

Why then....do you see beautiful feminine transexuals in porn movies with the ability to get erections?

I have also seen where some beatiful Transexuals have penis'es that are 8 or 9 inches....I thought they were supposed to shrink......do they have some method to keep them big?

(I have never taken hormones....it is a fantasy of mine.....If I did take them, I would want to be able to keep the ability for erections.)

if you take hormones, e.g. estrogen, for a limited time you will get some feminisation without losing the ability. if you cycle it properly you could progreesively achive the results you sometimes see in naturally grown ********. in some movies you will notice a mid-stage where the ability remains but the product runs clear, if you know what I mean, i.e. there is no fertility in the discharge.

I can confirm Crispy's statement both from what I've read and what I've personally experienced.

1. What do you mean by cycle it properly? Take hormones for 2 years and then lay off 1 year.....and then take them for 2 years and lay off one year?

2. What do you mean by "naturally grown" *******?

It's been said that being on HRT for 9 months or more could cause permanent impotency. But I know TSs who have had experiences that prove that wrong. I've also read that two years is the most anyone can be on HRT w/o experiencing impotency. I have no proof to the contrary. While there are many ******** who star in porn flicks that still function, you will find maintaining an erection is difficult for them. Estrogen isn't designed for that purpose.

If one were to 'cycle' it would mean putting your body through a series of hormone shocks. You may not feel it, but your body doesn't respond well to an infusion of a contradictory hormone only to be devoid of that for a time and then to be bombarded once again by the same hormone. Look at what menopause does to women and estrogen is natural to them. How many times can you put your body through something that fights your natural tendencies then let's them come back then fights them again? That's what your body goes through when you cycle.

This is a case of wanting to have your cake and eat it too where indulging in both can lead to serious problems. If you decide on HRT have a qualified MD help you through it.

Stephanie,

I've been on hormones for 6 months now and there is no way I could get an erection even if the most beautiful girl in the world was laid naked in front of me waiting for me to perform.

Also, yes, my penis has shrunk quite considerably - although it never was anything like 8/9 inches (male or female inches  ).

However, with where I am I've got no problem with either of these :)

After a few weeks to a month your ability will be greatly decreased. Some may see this as a benefit since the involuntary times are eliminated. As for what you see on the internet and in the movies, most of these, in my opinion are more surgically, than hormonally, enhanced. Also, I read somewhere that many of these are not real, but rather photoshopped or otherwise altered.

I have a huge collection of asian ******* movies and photos and I can assure you that a significant number are not surgically enhanced (you can trace the gradual and natural development of some of the models from flat chested girly boys to womanly creatures over 2 or 3 years) and are still quite capable of normal male function. Yes there are many who take the short cut, but not all.

Stephanie,

I have been on HRT for about a year and a half now. I can tell you that mine has definitely shrunk...I've gone basically from a 44 Magnum to a derringer...so to speak. I haven't lost the ability to get an erection, but the size has definitely diminished. I used to be 7 inches fully erect. Now it is less than 5. I personally don't care that much either... although I know my wife isn't happy about it. To me it is a trade off. I wanted breasts...and I have a full A cup now and they are still growing...so giving up a few inches "down there" was...for me...significantly worth the inches that I have gained on the front porch! ;)

the under lying question is why !!!! the whole reason for hormones is to become female. ******** are a train wreck waiting to happen emotionally. it's one thing to be intersexed but ******** are just odd.

Each to their own Katrina. ******** enjoy their thing, crossdressers enjoy theirs and I, living 24/7 and having the op next year am happier than I've ever been.

Don't knock it just cos it don't float your boat.
