Recently DanaJ responded to a thread with 'are you writing a thesis?'
This brings back a memory for me. Late last year, a woman walked into my workplace and I was the only one in the office at the time. This lady was doing a survey for her Doctorate in Pyschology. It was about opinions on transgenders and how they are percieived in society. Was I interested in particpating? You bet!
I had to take it home for a couple of nights since it was pretty extensive, but I answered honestly. At the end of the week, the lady came by collect it and since many of the staff were in the office, i had to take her outside to answer some of her queries. She must have picked up on my discrete answers during our brief chat, because she actually asked me if i was transgendered! After a quick look around, i said 'sorta' and then said i had to get back to work.
Kinda outed myself didn't i?
Anyway, back to my origional question. Has anyone been in a similar situation where they were asked to participate in a transgender questionaire?
