We were discussing our dinner plan for tonight and settled on a menu, then my wife said, "Well, since it's just the two of us tonight and we're staying in, maybe you should dress up." !!! That's the first time she's initiated dressing! I'm very excited and can't wait.

Maybe she ment a suit and tie? That could be embarassing!

"... and so there she was in her Princess gown and holding a clown suit for me...."
Hey, it sounds like you might be in for a night of fun surprises. Post pics for us.

Since we're having a bit of fun, what were you wearing at the time? Stained T-shirt and sweat pants? Seriously, maybe the wife is staging a 'dress' rehersal.(get it? Dress! Ha!) Remember your manners. Use the proper fork for the salad and don't chug a beer from the can. There might be a dinner out (out, Ha! I just crack myself up sometimes)) in the future.

Sounds like your lady is someone very special. Lucky B**ch.

I'm just jealous. Hugs, Terri

It sounds like it will be a fun evening for the both of you!

Aren't supportive wives wonderful? My wife sometimes asks if Samantha can come over for the evening. How can I say no to that?! Sometimes we watch a movie or play games. We always have fun.

I guess Samantha is a little more mellow and relaxed than her twin brother. He can be kind of intense at times.....:heehee:

I do hope you have a wonderful evening but what Karren said reminded me of this commercial I saw some time ago:

Thanks everyone for your comments, good wishes and humor. The beer commercial is very funny; fortunately we've established a little better communication. The meaning of "dress-up" was very clear! No clown costume either. To answer one of your questions, I wore a violet drape-neck dress, red pumps, matching pink panties and bra (colorful, I know)with breast forms. Pomegranite toenails and blush fingernails. My wife even did make-up for me. A lovely evening of champagne, dinner and wine was had, then to bed in white gown.

A wonderful evening by the sounds of it... just don't read anything into this, respect her boundries and let her set the pace of her acceptance. You will do well, she sounds like a super lady. Carol
