Question: "What is a tab waist?"

I ran across this on a few clothing sites and for the life of me, can't figure out what a "tab" waist is on a skirt or pant. Does it me stretchy, or elastic waist? Thanks.

I think it means velcro, so there is a fold over tab. But don't quote me on that......
