Photos From My New Digi Camera

Hi everyone,

I finally got my act together and bought myself a digital camera. I've taken a couple of pics (posted below). I'd be grateful for any comments, advice or whatever. Plus, I just got the skirt today so I wanted to show it off. :rolleyes:

And before anyone says anything about cutting my head out of every pic, that was on purpose LOL. I'm not into maek up or wigs and I didn't want to frighten anyone.

Getting the batteries in the camera is a good start. If the photography was any good then it was pure luck. I had the camera perched on a set of kitchen scales on top of a desk to give it some height. I just set the self timer and tried to get in front of it before it went off.

I did edit them a bit with Paint Shop which helped a bit as well. It's fun just to mess about with the camera sometimes.

The headless CD does seem to be a recurring theme. I thought I would have to go to a specialist supplier for mine but the people in the shop must have guessed why I wanted it. LOL.

Thanks for the encouragement. The reason I detached my head (as it were) is because I don't wear a wig or makeup. This is the photo which may give you nightmares coz it's got my mug in it.

I'm concentrating on making sure this camera works properly hence the serious face. Tristen and Kellyann, I'm wearing the same boots. You can see them a bit better in this one.

Ronni, I just don't think wigs and makeup is for me. Too much hassle.

I just thought the photo looked better that way as I always end up looking distracted because I'm trying to work out whether I've set the camera up properly, is there any background junk in sight or is the camera about to fall off of the desk. That kind of thing. Then I look at the photo and realise I look far too serious by half.

I like the look Marko, it's always fun to get new things! Love the boots too. The "ten second strut" is always a challenge. It's tough to get posed sometimes before the flash goes off, but it's always fun to take pics, thanks for sharing.
