It's incredibly cold out, so I wore girl pants under man pants to stay warm instead of simply for fun. Very effective.

Always been a great excuse to wear pantyhose!

Hi Paperdoll, O K so try wearing pantie hose climbing poles. As a lineman back in the 65 to 78 in the winter some of us wore them to wick away the moister. It felt great plus kept us warmer. JO:doh::D:angry::bonk::roflmao:

Two paiir of pants? Why not wear fem slacks with tights under them... Not that I approve of slacks over skirts or anything even closely resembling that... Long wool skirts are really warm too ya know!! :)

I always wear thigh highs and silk panties under my boy pants most of the year, and I find that when I'm dressed in a skirt that's just below the knee I'm not cold at all

It's funny but I agree, when I wear a skirt as well I'm remarkably not cold either. In fact I'm colder when I wear pants. My theory is heat rises and the skirt provides a buffered area of warm air between the outside air and the lower section of your body..:battingeyelashes: Kimberly

I wear leggings under my postal pants during the winter months. They keep my legs warm.

Everyone remember the Joe Namath ad for pantyhose. Well he and others made comments that more than one player wore them to keep warm.

One of the pro golfers told about how he decided to try them as other players wore them from time to time to keep warm. It was funny because he took a pair of his wife's who was much shorter and smaller than him. They started slipping down and he fought with them all 18 holes. He claimed it cost him one H of a lot of money because of it. It had everyone laughing.

Nothing nicer than a pair of ladies silk Capri length underwear with a nice long sleeve silk thermal cami to keep the cold out of your suit. And just think of all of those folks complaining about the cold and you are all toasty in girly undies.

Yes. . . pantyhose under the pants help, I like thighhights myself, allot easier to pee . . . found this out living in Alaska for 20 yrs, now in warmer Buffalo NY, so don't have to be bothered by cold & snow during winter . . . .

Pantyhose or shiny tights are great under pants, especially this time of year.

Oh geeze is that what they call it now? :heehee:

Pantyhose or tights do help with warmth but the pain thing is - pantyhose are a constant struggle.

Everyone looks good in Melodias. Just not enough men brave enough to wear them.
Is a shame too. Does such lovely things for your tush, babyDoll. :daydreaming:

I always stick with tights in the winter. They don't run as quickly and last longer than panty hose. Usually buy them at Walgreens, two pair for $5.00.

I've been wearing some tights I got at Costco under my jeans and to be honest I've been a bit disappointed that they don't seem to keep me any warmer.

Still, they feel good, so I'll keep doing it.

It is so cold here in Minnesota,

that even the snowmen are shivering.

A long black skirt, sweater, tights, and knee high boots, should I decide to brave the weather.
