The trouble is you can't lose your confidence because where are going to hide or run? You have to front it up. Cities are far better than towns since people are more cosmoplitan and have less time on their hands to concentrate on us. Crowds are our friend ironically.

You can't lose your confidence. Once your out your out. Even if you feel that you've been read just grin and bear it and continue to enjoy yourself. A big city is much better to get lost in and has a lot more to do. They are alos more likely to have a place or two that welcomes the GLBT community.
