When I was 16 I would dress up in some of my moms clothes and I would look out of my bedroom window and when I saw a lady walking down the street I would run downstairs and outside and stand on the porch and would say hello to them and to see their reaction at seeing me. I did this till I was 18 and I was just wondering if I should have done that or not? I don't do that now because I think its wrong, and I don't feel like getting caught.

It sounds a little impulsive, but there's no reason to call it 'wrong.' :)

Did they smile, and say hello? See, nothing wrong there. It's the neighborly thing to do.

You were just young and impulsive. Exploring and experimenting, that's all :)

Hi...Summer ..
Sounds like a good game you were having . i would like to know did any of those people talk to you or say hi . what years were they that you did that . did you have long hair . any other details . The older people wold more likely think . oh dear a bit strange that one .
. They must have got used to you. as did you do it every day .... he he ,,,, just love it .... how neat . or they knew you well enough not to worry ....now then thats a strange looking girl .....
What i did some 55 years ago was hide behind the fence . & when women walked by i would jump out & tackle them around thier feet .
hey i deny all accounts of that . that was not me ....yea right . my mum told me thats what i did .i must have been 4 .. at the time .
I did not know as i had a compleat mind blank for most of my early lfe . till about 7 .
Kids ,,,,a,,,,oooops me . had to laugh. thought that was fun .

Naw I don't think it was wrong in anyway, you were just having fun and probably weren't hurting anyone. At 16 most boys can pass as female with a little bit of calculated effort, unless you were a linebacker for your high school football team or something.

Funny how our idea of right and wrong changes. When you greeted the passing women you obviously didn't think about getting caught. It was a fun game. Now the fun is out of the game and you don't want to get caught. Like many things in life when you look back at things you did you will judge them. I have done many things that looking back were bad or stupid or dangerous or fun; but at the time and place they sure didn't seem that way. Right or wrong? History is what I say! Fun memories even.

Sounds like you were having fun, doing something I never had the nerve to do or try.
Don't sweat the petty stuff and do it again if you want to.
It had to be a thrill, am I right?

I'll give the standard psychologist answer:"What do you think?":)

To answer some of your questions I was only dressed in the clothes never had a wig or wore makeup. A lot of reactions i would get was some people would look at me then they would look away and not look at me again and pick up their pace. Another reaction was they look at me smile and keep on walking. The last most common reaction was hello how are you and they would keep walking.

I don't think that it was wrong. If you didn't want to get caught, it was certainly risky. But maybe you weretrying to get caught in order to get someone to talk to you about the impulses you we feeling at that time.
There's nothing illegal, unethical, or immoral about crossdressing itself; now you may approach it differently, but I would say that you need to express your concerns somewhere--this is a pretty good place to do so.
Good luck.

Well, it sounds like something maybe a 5 year old would do.
When I was 16, if I wore anything femme I made sure I was well hidden.I was so paranoid, I was afraid the news crew would show at the door to do a news report, "Local high schooler dresses in women's clothes, tonight at 10."
