Hey Mary Ann,

Your pictures are pretty nice, but they seem to be too good in some areas, especially around the breast areas. The one in your profile is really a dead giveaway (under arm area)

But I guess thats OK, because we're all just pretending to be women anyway.

I guess you are talking about this one:

Making a side cleavage is not hard at all if you know how to do it. A piece of 3M Transpore tape, a brown eyebrow pencil and some shadows and highlights. As long as you don't raise the arm pit, it will look as real as it is from the side. I am quite happy with my makeup skills. If you need help, please say so. I have never held back in helping others to do their transformation -- be it on the web or in person.

Sharp observation (Ricki B Good) VS. sharp expertise (Maryanne Sung)... Informative interchange...

Hey Maryann,
I'm impressed with your makeup skills, but thats not the skill that I am referring to. I am questioning the authenticity of your digital images. In other words, are all or some of your photos posted on this website altered or enhanced.

Why my questions and doubts?
I made the mistake in the past of being too quick to praise others who posted images of themselves, that where completely false, and I certainly do not wish to repeat the same mistakes again.

See the thread "Phony Avatars" posted 07-05-2005.
Quotes:
Julie M: "So ladies, before you pay out those compliments, think!"
Ricki B: "Sorry, you're right, I wasn't thinking, didn't stop to think someone would be cheating."

Ricki:

Some of my pictures are cropped and some are toned for color corrections. All of them are reduced in resolution for quick web uses.

I have been quite open about it in the past that for every photo shoot, I take about 150 pictures, out of those pictures, I picked just a few for usage. For every good picture you see, there are about 20 bad ones.

I do not use digital alternation to "enhance" my breasts, I don't need to. As a matter of fact, I have posted a step-by-step guide on how to do it. The hourglass look is achieved using control garments as well as years of body toning and exercising. As for photo retouching, the only improvements I made is to remove the odd strayed hair and some times unwanted blemishes on the arms and legs. To reduce the appearance of facial lines and wrinkles, a stong flash soften by a light box will do the job. This type of correction is pretty common in the magazine industry. If I really want to enhance the pictures, I'd make myself 30 pounds slimmer and my legs six inches longer.

For those sisters who have met me and gone through a makeover by me, they can atest to how genuine this Maryanne is. Thank you for your interest.

Very good points Ricki...but very good rejoinder on Maryanne's part...

Surface body fat that contributes to a smooth pleasing femenine appearance is a genetic trait that some male individuals are gifted with and occasionally seen. Expertise and LIFELONG effort at honing a natural male body into convincing femme image is still required...

Once I see an unscripted, open-space public foto of a CD (spotlit, closely photoflashed, or in sharp daylight) I can pick up unique details that would define authenticity or morphed fakery.

In a public photo or video image...no amount of digital distorting, or chemical intervention for that matter would be of any significant enhancing benefit...if not enough natural traits are present (IMO). Yet to see otherwise.

Thats awesome. I love to go out and shop with my GGF. Nothing like shopping for new clothes, trying on new things and just having fun with the girls. Looking good btw.

P.S. When shopping en femme, I learned this little trick from a fellow Toronto sister Helen. Always carry in your purse a shower cap, this will shield your makeup from staining the clothings you are trying on. It's one extra thing we T-girls can show to people who cater to us we care.

What a compliment to be accused of 'cheating' ;)

Speaking of which - Katie Lynn - welcome! And be careful - you might raise a brow or two yourself ;) (that's a compliment)

Here is a sample of a color toned photogrpah. On the left is the color corrected version and on the right is the original. I'd to tone the color because the advertsing light box at the cosmetic counter is causing the camera to shoot the photograph too dark.
