That is not the worst site, it is the funniest! OMG they cannot be serious can they?
Mouthpiece of God?
Putting the "Stud" back in study? Mr Goldman stating he is NOT a Jew?
"It is true, that back in 1988, there were photographs of me engaging in sodomy with a transsexual prostitute in Bangkok. This, however, was at a time when I was led astray by Satan and not being a good Christian. I was embezzling money from my church and ministry to pay for flights, hotels, food, drink, massage services, and various ******* prostitutes in Bangkok and Rio." Can I get a hallelujah?
You have to watch out for those "********" Especially in the "ornamental countries". He even has links to videos...in the name of research I am sure. Then he has a list of who will be damned...hypocrites is number 1! Yay! The posters move right to the head of the line! There are a few more in case they don't win the hypocrite award like the malicious, the proud (Marines???), the deceitful, the fearful (aren't they afraid of the ********?).
This site is a goldmine. They trademarked the word "Christian".
The youtube video made me cry.
Ashley Thank you You made my day. Now I must go out and lure someone to my lair. After all I have a quota to make

"Godly heterosexual men everywhere have to be careful not to be lured into their lairs"
Little known fact: transwomen hunt in packs (like lionesses, duh) and have been known to drag unsuspecting straight men into their lairs to convert them to lives of satanism and money laundering
Also, what Lorileah said.
Everyone at my church has been exceptionally nice and welcoming. Then again, we're not reading Leviticus literally... it's too bad that the crazies are more fun to listen to, because there are plenty of churches that are RIC/ACC (LGBT welcoming), and that doesn't get the press the Falwell's do.

This is one pastor's understanding of what he did wrong in his life and to make up for it, he goes overboard. Heterosexual males would never sleep with a male no matter how they are dressed. He is making a big deal and attracting a following of people who only understand part of the story.
I understand that he is stereotyping all TG people with the tag of being homosexual. He has become so homophobic that he has to preach his message this way. I feel sorry for him because it appears that he is having some issues with his own sexuality and we a community are who he is blaming for his shortcoming instead of himself. After he found out the woman was actually a guy, then he could have walked out. But he didn't. Apparently that was exactly what he was looking for at the time. So to blame them for his sinning is not begin truthful. He is trying to justify his actions by claiming the women were too beautiful that he fell under a spell.
Pastors are people too. They have the same shortcomings as the rest of us. We try so hard to hide who we are that we end up shouting it from the roof tops about their shortcoming. Perhaps they feel better after they tell themselves a 1000 times that that part of themselves isn't really them.

Really? Some of you believe this web site to be real/true ?! That is even more funny then the stuff that they write. I've had this site marked for over a year. Did anyone read the story of the 9 year old that had her hand choped off because she learned about sex on the Internet from Brittney spears. It's a riot! Or the store where you can buy the jesus panties?
The worst thing about this site is it isn't updated very often. Only like 3 or 4 times a year.
Unbelievable!

Anything religious is blocked at my work, so I could not watch it, but here is the Wiki entry for Landover. It sounds like an Onion kind of parody to me. Anyway as an atheist, I can't take anything to do with religion seriously, even if it is meant to be serious.

The Landover Baptist Church is a fictional[1] Baptist church based in the fictional town of Freehold, Iowa. The Landover Baptist web site and its associated Landoverbaptist.net Forum are a parody of fundamentalist Christianity and the Religious Right in the United States.

The site was created by Chris Harper,[2] who obtained his Master's Degree in English Literature from George Mason University in 1993 after being expelled from Liberty University (founded by Jerry Falwell) in 1989 for producing a satirical radio show which Liberty's administration found offensive.[3] Harper frequently appears at atheist conventions playing the character of "Pastor Deacon Fred Smith".[4] The website is owned by a company called Americhrist, Ltd.
Description
The fictional Landover Baptist Church is a parody of fundamentalist, Independent Baptist churches and Biblical literalism. The church is supposedly located on a 35-acre (140,000 m2) campus in Freehold. The fictitious church grants all authority to its Pastor Deacon Fred Smith, in accordance with its spurious interpretation of Romans 13.
The church claims to have 28 paid pastors, 412 full time staff members, 11 fully-equipped chapels, 7 sanctuaries, a 100,000 seat amphitheater, 12 television studios, 2 radio stations, an academy, a university, 2 gated communities, 27 developments, 3 office parks, as well as a shopping mall, amusement park, golf course, retirement community, foundation, fire and police department, circus camp, resort center, retreat center, and a number of fitness centers, swimming pools, hot springs, and cemeteries.

Here i will tell you the main problems with this. 1.) The pastor probably slept with with one of them and he's trying to cover himself. 2.) anyone ever notice that gay guys i have seen have always been the MOST! Religious 3.) despite this Christ worshipers are supposed to accept everyone for jesus. 4.) To me it seems as though the people that fight so hard to get rid of gays are the ones that end up gay

Landover Baptist is a parody. It's a Poe (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poe's_law#N.E2.80.93Q) (see "Poe's Law"). However there really ARE people who believe and talk very much like this, sincerely. Most of them are conservatives. Do the conservatives on this site understand why a lot of us do not like conservatives? Does it have to be explained? (I don't want to get in trouble here but, seriously). And really on a site like this, for TRANSSEXUALS and CROSSDRESSERS, why is it surprising that conservatives aren't popular?

Brother Larry, no I do not think they are part of the congregation, however whenever some of us do evangelizing in the seedy underbelly of city nightlife, we may come across these creatures and every evangelist should be prepared. Often in my missions in West Hollywood and San Francisco, I would be talking to a what I thought was a gorgeous young lady only to find out when I take her back to my hotel to do bible study that "she" is really a HE!
LOL yeah right, the only studying he will be doing is sex ED

Truth is stranger than fiction. That rev. that McCain was "proud to be endorsed by" during the campaign said the Katrina devastation of NOLA was god's punishment for its embracing homosexuals. ( but when he said Hitler had the right idea about the jews, McCain decided maybe it wouldn't be good to have his endorsement )

Dear Fellow Members,
I've been a member of this site for a little while, and never really had the guts to post anything. But after looking at a combination of the site in question, and this post, I'm noticing something that's a little disturbing... some of you take yourselves WAY to seriously.

You two are awesome! If we all went and joined his site and started posting random pictures, videos and the like, he would either use us as his next examples (making a complete fool of himself), or shut his site down in embarrassment. Or, he might not know what to do?:tongueout

That's almost as narrow minded as the rev. Just because we prefer the left or right side of politics should have no impact on what we have in common. If there's a wacko from either side posting, they're going to stir up somebodies emotions. I am a conservative crossdresser... and as much as it sounds like it, that's not a contradiction... it's just fun!

They completely forget about the word of God and become gready for your money. My friends tell me, I am a very pretty girl and I could have any man I want, But I am not intrested in men! I still like women. So pastor Ass is wrong about this. He is picking more on gay people and has it all wrong about transgender people. What a jerk! This is based on your personal experience or just what you are parroting? How many conservatives do you personally know and interact with regularly?
Some of my best, long time "friends" were "non-conservative" (you can't call them Left Wing Liberals because they will get their panties in a bunch that you called them a name) who turned their back on me the second they learned I was transitioning. Most of my conservative friends have stayed by me. So in MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE I've found that you are completely 180 degrees backwards.

I grew up in a conservative evangelical community. These things have been said to my face.
I never said there weren't assholes in the liberal camps as well. Clearly, you and I have just had completely different personal experiences.
My experience has been with people (who at least call themselves conservatives) directly controlling my reproductive freedom, calling me demon-posessed, 'carnal' and an inherently awful parent because of my choice of religion, telling my husband to his face that he does not exist because he is an agnostic. Hearing people parroting the lies about healthcare reform, the homophobic bumper-stickers, and the casual racism that is so prevalent around here that sometimes I don't even notice it. These are just personal experiences! CERTAINLY not every conservative is like this, maybe not even most, but it's hard to say with how loudly that segment of the 'conservative' population is yelling and making a ruckus.
I will admit that there is a HUGE difference between social conservatives and FISCAL conservatives, who I disagree with but don't have a huge issue with. Economic policies? We can talk about that. But when so-called 'conservatives' work diligently to try to directly control my life? Yeah I have a problem with that.
Sorry if I have offended you.

There’s no need to be so touchy about this subject. I assume there are conservative transsexuals, just like there are gay Muslims, Christian heavy metal groups and blue potatoes. So what? :idontknow: You run into trouble when you start pointing out the differences among people, something He was trying to teach us about, but that enlightened wisdom was forgotten (or conveniently misplaced) a long, long time ago…

That's funny serrus. I've had similar reactions from liberals who criticize me because I believe in a religion and call me weak and "needing a crutch". These same liberals want to control or regulate everything about my life including which doctor I can see. I watch the news or read a newspaper and experience the same parroting of lies about healthcare and global warming and I even hear the people screaming raceism every time someone does or says something they don't like or agree with. I guess certainly not every liberal is like that, maybe not even most, but it's hard to say with how loudly that segment of the 'liberal' population is yelling and making a ruckus.
I never said there weren't assholes in the liberal camps as well. Clearly, you and I have just had completely different personal experiences.

I'm happy to see that we're calming down and taking the time to both adequately explain our opinions and understanding the other's true intentions. If I had been on site during most of this thread's life, I would likely have closed it.
On a personal note, all opinions are welcome on touchy subjects, but I take umbrage at closed-minded political arguments. In my opinion. both ultra-liberals and ultra-conservatives need to learn to appreciate one another's viewpoints, even when in disagreement. Of course, I am savvy enough to realize in the current political climate that this is but a pipe-dream.
As for the web site -- and as a long time fan of The Onion, the old Harvard and National Lampoon magazines, and satire of all sorts -- I just wonder how many people take the opinions of the site as serious and how many reinforce their own prejudices because of it. Just the reaction in this thread would lead one to believe that many people will take it as "gospel." And that's sad.

That's funny serrus. I've had similar reactions from liberals who criticize me because I believe in a religion and call me weak and "needing a crutch".
I will admit freely that a lot of atheists are assholes. Much of the namecalling is petty and hurtful. I agree with this. I affirm the right for anyone to believe as they wish, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else. While it's true that atheism has had some legal impact (http://www.crosswalk.com/1364333/), I, personally, believe that the legal effect that self-called Christians (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/California_Proposition_8_(2008)) have had on the country is worse. Please note that while 'in God we trust' is still printed on our money, my gay friends still can't be legally married.
These same liberals want to control or regulate everything about my life including which doctor I can see. I watch the news or read a newspaper and experience the same parroting of lies about healthcare
I think this link (http://www.slideshare.net/danroam/healthcare-napkins-all) might be useful to you. If you currently have insurance, NOTHING WILL CHANGE FOR YOU. Nobody is advocating changing the way insurance currently operates (except perhaps putting a cap on what they charge for premiums). That has never been on the table. Nobody's going to tell you what doctor you can see, unless your insurance already does that.
global warming
Global warming, which is really global climate change, exists and is really happening. The real question that most people seem to have is whether or not human actions have an affect. I really don't want to get into it here, but a lot of the things that GW proponents advise make good sense even if GW isn't an issue. Like, finding renewable sources of energy and controlling our use of resources. Even if you don't think global warming is real, turning off your lights when you're not using a room will still save you money on your energy bill.
and I even hear the people screaming raceism every time someone does or says something they don't like or agree with.
I can't say anything about the incidents that you have heard, but what I was talking about was really for-real racism. I mean the n-word, laughing and attributing stereotypes to people on the television (anyone who's poor is 'he's so black', no matter what color their skin is, anyone who's stupid or lecherous is a 'mexican'). Police in this county will actually stop black drivers, for no reason. I wasn't playing any PC-card when I mentioned racism, it really exists here.

Serrus, I don't want to have this digress into something that it's not. You believe what you believe and I believe what I believe. We can agree on some things and we must agree to disagree on others. There is no harm in that outcome.
My whole purpose was to point out that, as with nearly everything, there are usually at least 2 sides to everything and the truth somewhere in between. But if someone is demanding their side be heard they had better be prepared to allow the other side the same courtesy. Blanket condemnations and name calling is what most people here complain about when it happens to them. So why is it ok for them to do it to another group with whom they disagree?
Thank you Sharon. I believe the members of forums like this sometimes need to be reminded that, even though we are all here with a common concern, we are all different. We all need to remember that the words we use here are going beyond our usual circle to others who may not see things the same way or agree with what we personally believe. And we also need to remember that words can and do hurt. Even ones spoken by those we like to think of as friends.

Yes, please, if you disagree with some group, that's okay, but the peanut gallery jokes only serve to make some of our members here feel bad. This board should be for making transgendered people feel included. We shouldn't be expected to adopt the party line before we join here. Or put up with snide comments about our political or religious views. Either we're an inclusive board or we're not. I mean seriously, just cause we're transgendered, we're expected to be left-wing in our views? That's as close-minded as radical conservatives. I think that if you believe this you oughta check your premises, or read Paulo Friere.
When I first read through the article, I was thinking "OMG, there really are people like this still left in the USA". Then someone here revealed that it's all a parody and I took another look. Yes, it's a huge joke, but I can't imagine spending that much time and energy on bashing *anything*. Too much wasted energy! There are much better things to do with your time!
In any case, I read through several other threads and it starts sounding about the same after a while.
Makes you wonder just how hard can it be to start a church of your own with an online forum and fake snail mail address. Then start collecting the donations! Probably not too hard to do... Might even be legal!

I dunno. Don't quite see the fun. Stormfront is another similar site, the hate on this one was actually worse. I'm of the same opinion as the OP.
I went to Stormfront, which I had never heard of. You're most certainly right. Disgusting. I wont even bother commenting there and trying to change minds. They're insignifigant. You are right, there. But the other site in question is SATIRE. It isn't serious. It's mocking the small-minded beliefs it portrays. THAT'S why it's funny. How many times do ya need to read that here before ya get it???
C'mon.
Hugs,
Melissa:)

I get it, but they could have made it more obvious.

Finally! She wouldn't answer my letters, so I pm'd Coulter for tips on passing. She will get back with you. I have been asking her tips on becoming a writer after transistion for years!!!!!
And just so you don't think I am conservative bashing I think Robin Meade is also one of us. Check out her brows. Its a dead give away........
There’s no need to be so touchy about this subject. I assume there are conservative transsexuals, just like there are gay Muslims, Christian heavy metal groups and blue potatoes. So what? :idontknow: You run into trouble when you start pointing out the differences among people, something He was trying to teach us about, but that enlightened wisdom was forgotten (or conveniently misplaced) a long, long time ago… Girl you rock! Leave it to one of the girls from the home of Fred Phelps to point out that many of us forget that the heart of Christianity is forgivness of sins not stoning each other for them. And I like Blue Potatoes.
Will you people either lighten up or go take a nap? Please? This started out as fun about a bunch of ignoramuses and now it's giving me a headache...sheesh! Karen is right. Now give each other a hug tell them you love them and play nice! :hugs::Playnice:
I found this site so friggin funny, but....I am sure there are narrow minded single cell thinkers out there that don't understand satire. When doing funeral detail with the Patriot Guard I have probably stood across the street from sign toting goobers that read this stuff and believe it. I am a Christian and served 22 years in uniform to protect everyone's right to worship or not worship in the way that they see fit. But in some case I just wish some folks would hurry up and drink the Jim Jones cool aide and go away. :D
Julie I was going to comment on the Satin's spawn comment but everyone got to all the good lines first

Yeah, the websites funny as $@#!...Scary thing is, there really are people out there who are that self rightous and narrow minded. But then again, I have met a lot of people who are not necessarily part of the community, who are kind, understanding, and non-judgmental...kind of like a man who was on earth 2,000 yrs ago. His name was Jesus. And I don't believe he appreciates the so called "christians" who perpetuate hate, anger, etc in his name. Now WHO's gonna burn in @#$# ? Sorry, did'nt mean to turn this into a rant.

I feel sorry for him because it appears that he is having some issues with his own sexuality and we a community are who he is blaming for his shortcoming instead of himself.
that is the real truth
Can we get medals like they have?

NASA is not using the launching pad at the moment . I wonder if we could dispatch all those people....HMMMMMM
I absolutely love your comment. thats awasome. But honestly as funny as it all may be, these are the people we have to watch out for and those are the people that give us a good reason to hide. and im saying that because you never know what you can expect from some one like that who believes that your behavior is unethical through religious believes. i feel sorry for them thought that they were also brain washed by what is considered "normal" by traditional standards. see obviously we already all know that but people like that have their mind set on what they think is right. also the older those kind of people are the more difficult it would be to prove that thats what and who we are. not because they may be smarter with age but because, no offense to anyone but the people im referring to: "you can not teach an old dog a new trick"
so if you happen to see one of those dush bags on the street and they start to argue you/give you sh#t please dont attempt to explain yourself because close minded people ARE close minded people. its a fixed problem.

Good thing that church IS fictitious - I was gonna find a contact link and give those folks what-for ! Any REAL Christian knows that God has no use for hypocrites who condemn others in that fashion ! And I do not see the humor in such a disgusting parody of a church.....
