Does any one have a last name they made up. I was thinking the other day that my CD name is Alexis but what about a last name. Here is another idea do you have a signator for your CD self. I was thinking that when you get a credit card they always have that part where you can request multiple cards and what name goes on the card. Could you put your CD name on there so when out at clubs you could actually pay for it as your CD self?

I use my mothers maiden name... The Hutton women were a bunch of small breasted man haters so I fit right in! :D. Karren is one letter from my birth name.

Oh yes, after coming up with my first name, I gave myself the last name I would have liked to have!!!!

Karren, honey, you just crack me up, girl.

My last name means "Cross" in Spanish (not like grumpy, though I sure can be) and reflects my heritage.

Hugs...Joni Mari

Jones. I see there is alredy an MJ on the site, so I can't use that, but Margaret or MaggieJ is how I refer to myself on line.

While Denise is a fairly ordinary name (to be more approachable) I had the Colossus of Rhodes in mind when I chose my last name this time. The statue was one of the wonders of the ancient world and a guardian and lightbearer for the city of Rhodes.:)

Erika... I mean Denise.... Tell the truth!! You must have a random name generator? Lol.

I have a first (Linnea), middle (Carol), and last name (Nydatich). I have also opened charge accounts that include Linnea as a user, but when I use those, I'm almost always asked for ID and I don't have any official ID in Linnea's name. I'll get some some day.

It happened without any fanfare...just seemed natural.

Just after Tina got named we thought it would be good for her to have her own e-mail address, so she sat down to generate a hotmal account. Well...they wanted a first and then LAST name. It all just clicked and suddenly Tina had 3 names, first, middle, and last.

It is amazing how some things just happen!

Jennifer was the name I have always wanted mine to be, as long as I can remember, about ten years ago I wanted to order some girly things through the mail, that was back when I had a p.o. box, and I needed a last name one day I was looking on the Mo. map and Easton Mo. caught my eye so Jennifer became bonified, it kinda has a ring to it, anyway I think, kinda like a Playboy center fold! HA!

I guess I am different, I have always used my last name as Jenni's, so the Y is real, the rest of the name can't be given here though. There is nothing better than getting mail for Jenni, someday I hope all mail will be in that name.

That's an awesome idea about a copy of my credit card with my female name on it. I was actually debating whether to just get cash for my first time out or just not buy anything, but that's a perfect solution.

The name I came up with for my female personality was just a combination of firstname Kristin (one of a handful of my favorite girly names) and lastname Skye (a deviation of part of my online handle.

My wife says it sounds like a stripper name

My last name is Clark, which has led to my nickname CeeCee.

Christina Horton
01-18-2010, 12:31 PM
In 1986 when I got my drivers licence I named my 64 ponitic Christine. Then when in the 90s when I gave her a name I thought " She can't have the same name and my car " so she became Christina. My last name came from Second Life. It's a 3d world chat site. I made my avater female of course and when it came to a last name. You had to have one. You looked through a list of names that were not being used for that first name. I looked and saw Horton. It was easy to spell and I like the way it looked beside my first name. So that's the way I got my last name.

I way given two middle names after I was born. So I figered why not. So from sailor moon Sireana cane to be. Then once in Reno when I was picking up a load this women I was talking to's name was Levina. So Christina Sireana Livina Horton was born.

Side note. Second life AND this site was THE reason I was able to gear up and to go out as Christina. So Kisses and big Hugs to all the girls that helped me then. I love you all.

The only problem with getting a credit card in your femme name is if they want to see an ID-and yours doesn't match.

Most people assume that my chosen last name is Rose, since I sign things "Zelda Rose." It's not. I don't usually use my last name and almost no one knows it. I just chose to reserve some privacy and not connect other parts of my life to this...

carolinoakland
01-18-2010, 12:35 PM
I used to use my middle name as Carol's last name until I decided to transition. And I kept my last name the same, which wasn't easy for personal reasons. My last name connects me to my daughter, and my repurtation in my trade. I'm the Wendy Carlos of my trade.

Carole Cross
01-18-2010, 12:41 PM
I chose the name Carole when I was about twelve as it sounds similar to my male name (which will soon be consigned to history :)). My last name is my real surname and as yet I am not sure if I will have a middle name since I don't have one now.

Beth Wilde
01-18-2010, 12:50 PM
I chose my last name for much the same reason as Tina, and chose it to reflect the way I feel when I dress! lol
As for the credit card, I have a pay as you go Mastercard in my male name and Beth has her own card linked to the account with Miss Beth Wilde on it!

I just take my wifes credit card, and never been questioned for ID, when shopping for clothes, or eating out with friends.

I chose the last name of Grey (Gray is the color of what is left of my hair)

Lorileah

Lori has the last name Monet'

but my stage name is Mina Castor. (have any idea Clayfish?)

My last name is Pall. Because I cast a pall over any event or proceedings. I think I'm only kidding about that.
I did have an account with Prescriptives (the cosmetics people) in my name. Don't know if I do any more since that line is no longer with us.

Erika... I mean Denise.... Tell the truth!! You must have a random name generator? Lol.Actually I have a notebook with around 500 possible first and last name combinations. I used the Gene Roddenberry method of picking names for starship captains. Once I choose a new name, the middle one gets inserted at the last minute.;):battingeyelashes:

Next name will be in Klingon? Ok I had a few other profiles out there too. Kandice Fabrique was my other grandmothers last name and something or other with the last name Wilde which was a cousins last name! Lol.

Ruth
01-18-2010, 03:55 PM
I'm a member of the Beaumont Society and they seem to like full femme names for members so I call myself Ruth Ward.
The name Ruth was given to me and the addition of Ward makes an amusing correspondence with my male name (which I won't explain).

With last names... a few months back i was playing around with middle and last names..i took Anne, a alternative form of my friend Annie's first name.. She has been the most supportive person in my life when it comes to my gender experimentation and choosing. And my last name, Lane..has nothing to do with my male life, it just popped into my head outta nowhere. There are several Jenni Lane's on facebook, but I'm the only Jennifer Anne Lane on there :D

When I first started cross dressing, I was also into playing role playing games.
Acutally, that's not 100% true, it's when I first understood fully what I was doing.
I've recently adopted the last name I gave to my first character. First name is a feminization of my male first name.

Hmmmm where did I get the name Bender. Think about it....there ya figured me out. I am not that creative. If I decide to change it I think I will just use the name that the pornstar name generator gave me. Tonya Looselips. Or I could use my pirate name Slashin Helga Smythe.

Seriously, when and if I transistion I will use my real last name.

Next name will be in Klingon? Ok I had a few other profiles out there too. Kandice Fabrique was my other grandmothers last name and something or other with the last name Wilde which was a cousins last name! Lol.

What is Hutton in Klingon and I am sure that it won't have the ring of Karren Hutton small breasted man hater. I figured Lemieux would have been a last name you would have chosen. Mrs. Lemieux has a ring to it.

Girl you are a hoot.

My Klingon name is PIvghor Dah which means warp drive now.:)

Its scary that you know that Denise. I think Uhura has a much better ring. :heehee:

I kind of agree with your wife. There is a stripper/porn model that uses the name skye.
But then again, there a female wrestler on TNA, that uses that name also.

Velvet Skye I believe is what she goes by.

I added Love to my name a long time ago because I needed a screen name that was more than 7 letters. Then I decided to add Marie to my name, so Love became my last name. I thought Lisa Love sounded to pornish. As it turns out, there is a Lisa Love on the weather channel, so I guess just maybe it's not as pornish sounding as I though.

The only problem with getting a credit card in your femme name is if they want to see an ID-and yours doesn't match.

I keep both credit cards with me. If a problem arises, I can use the other card which I have ID for. Yes, I'd rather avoid that situation but if the need was to arise, I could. The numbers also match - except for the last digit, i think.

To keep on topic - I made up my last name.

I like my last name and I wouldn't change it. Only my first name needs changing, my middle name could be a girl's name if spelled differently.

Well, my 2 first names are almost identical, you should be able to figure them out. :D
Everytime I've mulled it over, I ALWAYS come back to simply changing the Y to an I and dropping the E from the end of my middle name.

As for the last name, my femme last name is the same as my GG bff and it is sort of an honor to her. The ironic thing is her dad and I have the same name. So, in effect, I desire to change my name to her dad's name (except the female spelling).
I'm not positive it will stay this way. Nothing has been legally changed yet and I don't have a specific time when I plan on it. I'm not ashamed of my last name and when I think about it makes me feel like I desire to desert my family (which is NOT true!). However, it also seems comfortable and natural to change the last name. So, I priliminarily plan on changing it. But, I am 'sitting' on that last name to see, in the long run, how it feels. If I had to decide right now, I would change it. But, I don't wanna have to decide right now either.

OK.... My name is Sherri... because I like it... and I chose the name Belmar as a last name because that was the name of the lady who sold me term life insurance and I figured she owed me something... as a middle name I chose Olivia...
So My full name is
Sherri Olivia Belmar...

Which means I initial all my notes S.O.B.

My Christmas cards read:

" May All Your Dreams Come True - S.O.B."

"full" name: Jillian Jaye Jones. The middle name is a play on my first name. As for the last name, I'm not sure how I came up with it--Just seemed to fit. I guess I'm a sucker for alliteration.

Rianna Humble

Yes, you could say that I made up my last name. I was musing on the fact that only Le Rosbif had a name but that some of his stuff has his initials on it. I didn't want to have to explain away the initials, so I thought I'd keep the same ones.

My first name just fits me like a glove and my last name sounds similar but different to his.

I had a little tounge (or whatever) in cheek when I came up with my last name. I thought it might be fun to have a connection to my male side. My first name resembling my male middle name was fairly easy,,,but what of a last name. Simon or something similar, but wanted to connect to my Tutonic roots as well. Then it hit me while lusting over a Playboy Playmate. Siemen.....not to be confused with semen..or maybe? Paula Siemen, thats me! Now is what I hear really true...all girls love seamen?

For my last name I wanted something out of the ordinary, something exotic, something memorable, something that would set me apart from the Joneses.

Last name Williams.

My unofficial trans ID card, however, has my actual last name on it.

When i was much much younger i asked my mother what my name would have been if i was born a female, she told me that she would have named me Juanita, so that is how i got my first name. For a last name i chose my mothers maiden name. (Sandoval) but i use just the first letter of her last name.

Suppose you will have sussed mine. My SO,s name is Emily, and after half an hour of coming up with nothing, and not wanting to use Emily, cos of the character in Little Britain,( if you,ve seen it you will probably know what I mean), I rearanged her name, I like it anyway.:)

I took my first name, pluralized it and used it as my last name. For my first name, I used my given middle name; my mother wanted a girl and this was the name my parents had chosen.

So the result is a name I feel comfortable with, Lynn Richards.

My name was more out of necessity when creating a login here. I think it says everything about me that I want to say. Just the simplicity of the name and the fact that it is female sound desciptive enough for me. The Cher of cd.com! Might be a bit of a problem on a credit card I would guess. :D

Good thread , I've toyed and spoken quite a lot with the wife over a surname for Shelly . Mothers maiden name , my middle name ... I simply cannot decide . Since my other passion is to dj and mix psy trance I've even considered using one of the many artists I adore . Shelly Cosmosis , Shelly Hallucinogen , Shelly Oforia .... the mind boggles . Till the wife said perhaps using the first letter of our surname - B . " Shelly ( shall he ) B a boy , or will Shelly B a girl " came the giggled remark .

The only problem that I can see with the credit card in your fem name is if they ask for a ID. Your man ID won't work any ideas to get around that?
