Being ripped off?

Hi girls.

Don't you just hate being ripped off? I'm unable to dress at home so rely on dressing services. The problem is the price, some places think that £500 a dday is reasonable!

All I want to do is dress and and enjoy being a lady for a day! Anyone know where a girl can get dressed in kent and not get conned?

My best advice (even though you may not think its good!) is to find like minded people and that can let you go to them and dress. It can also depend on your circumstances - are you single, a closet cd, ;live alone or in digs etc etc?

Hi Lucy,

£500 for one day is a rip off. I suggest you put your money to better use, by searching the web for upcoming CD events.
Many girls here go to weekend breaks all over the country. And if you have £500 to spare, you don't have to stay local.

£500 a day is totally out of order Lucy, some of the clubs here charge £50-£75 for a makeover (and you get the opportunity to dress) on their clubnights. Maybe this is an option to look into. Never pay £500 it goes to prove they do not really care but see us as an easy touch.

Hi Lucy,

I went to The Birdcage near Preston last month and it was the best money i have spent in a long time. They charge £80 for a 2 hours stay (which is the minimum) and then £30 per hour after that and in that covers everything. It is always a one on one appointment and you can try as many clothes, wigs, shoes and make-up styles that you want in the time.

I will never forget the moment I first saw myself fully dressed after Pauline had done my make-up, i was so happy it brought a tear to my eye. I stayed for 4 hours which cost me £140 but it was worth every penny.

I know its a long way from you in Kent but it is a fantastic experience and well worth a visit as they also do overnight stays, escorted shopping trips etc for which a special price is agreed.
