Alrighty, I hope this is in the right forum (if not please move). I want to let you all know I'm still very much alive and things seem to be going ok.
This forum was an enormous catalyst for my transition so I want to keep you all updated since I owe so much to this forum and trueselves. Since coming out to my parents over a year ago they gone from accepting to not so accepting then back to uber-supportive. Now the whole extended family is involved and It's looking like I might be getting discounted FFS from my plastic surgeon cousin who studied under an SRS specialist in Galveston. Hopefully an orchiectomy might be in the cards as well but we'll find out in a week or two. I've yet to have a negative reaction in the last year and a half other than my parents coming to grips with having a daughter. All I want to say is thank you so much for creating this forum that not only allows CD's but Ts's like myself to blossom and flourish in this world.
To everyone else who has doubts or fears about transitioning. TAKE THE STEPS. START TODAY. LIFE IS TOO SHORT. Find an understanding and nice therapist if you want, whatever it takes.
P.S.Couldnt have done this without Mydia and my favorite squirrel Zenith to inspire me not to suck.
