My best friend and I,last night had chat about our TG highlight.as unfortunately she has to "retire" from dressing now:sad:

We have had more than our share of Adventures but we agreed our highlight was in 2007,when we took part in Charity Transgender Fashion Show,Us and a few other LGBT folk came to take part, unsure how the event would pan out,the weeks of practise passed by succesfully with great humour and soon the day came.

We had so many happy moments culminating in me becoming the "blushing bride" A fantasy many of us girls yearn.I wore a gorgeous Ivory Gown, with veil and Tiara, soon I was walking down the Catwalk with my "Groom",bursting with pride when I saw my wife in the Audience, tears in her eyes which of course started me off,At the end of the day I didnt want to take the dress off,This was undeniably the Highlight of Sophies life...so far

So girls,What has been the highlight of your Journey of Femininity,or is it still to come

Hmmmmm, let's see . . .

The first time I was called "Ma'm" while dressed en femme.
The first time I was called "Ma'm" when not dressed en femme.
Serving as Matron of Honor at a Wedding.
Spending a week traveling across country with my spouse.
The birth of my son.

My highlight would be last Halloween when I went out dressed up and walked around in a casino, my first time dressed up in public in the sight of other people, and I pumped gas before going home. That was a good night...

I don't want to get banned for this.
I hope it is OK. I will try to make it clean.

I was dancing with this gent and the music turned to a slow dance.
We got close and I could tell he was happy dancing with me.
Nothing happened it just gave me a big smile.

In my 3 years of crossdressing, my hightlight would be back in September 2008 when I went to NYC for a business trip. I flew in femme and then rode in style from the airport to the hotel using the exclusive black car service.
A after work hours, a former co-worker would took me around the city to places, such as, Little Italy, the giant bull on Wall Street, and Union Station. We even rode the subway and walked around downtown NYC. That was an amazing trip. :D

My highlight, so far, for 2010 is participating in my first ever amateur drag show earlier this month. I did a number to the song "Don't cha! (wish your girlfriend was hot like me)" by the Pussy Cat Dolls and boy was that a lot of fun. I was nervous at first, but once I got on the stage I just let loose, had fun, shook my thang. :heehee:
I ended up winning the contest and got a $25 bar tab. :)

Hugs!

For me it was last summer when I was at a "ladies 80's" night at a local bar and I was en femme and then ran into some girls I casually knew, and ended up hanging out with them and dancing with them for the rest of the evening as if I was just another girl to them.

It's either that or the first time I went onstage to do my comedy act dressed in a skirt as a guy.

but I'm hoping my true highlight is still to come.

I don't consider myself a T-girl so I guess I don't have any! Lol.

When I was managing a store in Orlando we had what they call opposite day. I went enfemme and got co pliments all day long. I am not passable but I do clean up nice. I had a few of the other store managers tell me I should dress like that every day. Obviously I was stupid, I didn't take advantage, but it was great to hear.

It's a toss-up. One highlight was my first formal banquet at SCC 2004. Specifically, my wife and I in our formal gowns being handed roses as we descended the stairs. I felt like it was the prom I always wanted but never got.

The second was when I attended a masquerade ball at church as a flapper. The puzzled and astonished looks on people's faces were priceless, and it was so freeing to not have to pretend to be either a man or a woman--I felt like I was just me for once. :D

Last Friday night I was hit on by a lesbian in a gay bar. she was absolutely serious until I spoke, we all laughed, from across the room she thought I was a GG, then a guy at the bar hit on me. we all had a good time after that. It was a real highlight for me. that was also my first bar trip as a woman. BUT NOT THE LAST!!!!!

Mine was after coming out as the first TS in the union I work for that another union member came out to me on a job site and got in touch off work and told me that it was my example that encouraged her to finally come out of the closet and finally be happy. Wow. A role model. THAT is the best thing that has happened to me since I became a woman. Paying it all back as best I can.... Carol
