I am going to take a trip for a couple of days away from the family. An opportune time to do a little dressing and fun alone. What do you take when away for a couple of days and have some quality alone time? I know I will have a pair of panties and a pair of pantyhose, but what do I need to pick up on the way? There is no way I could ever go public, so mostly I like undergarments and lingerie. I plan to pick up some more panties, thigh highs, maybe even a camisole. What else do I need for my time alone?

Thanks!

Tiffy Jo

Take all that you can that you need to enjoy your dressing. I would need a dress, bra, forms, heels, and some makeup. The rest I could do without until I got home.

I have taken a whole outfit, one I could wash if need be, and that's a lot of fun.

When I don't think I'll have the time for all of that, I take some silk pjs, stockings, and shoes...and then make the decision about a wig and makeup.

But, shoes no matter what. Even if I have nothing else, as soon as I get back into the room the femme shoes go on and the transformation has taken place!

My advice is to visualize the time you have and the way you want to spend it, then go from there!

I'm a bad one to ask... I usually have 95% female clothing in two monster suit cases and always go over weight according to the airlines.. Got to have choices!! Like 14 wigs and 2 life times worth of makeup...

I've got the while travel thing down, I do way too much of it.

I have a bathroom bag on standby that contains hairbrush, deo, wipes, travel size lotions and potions (you know those free samples of moisturisers and scents you get?), and my travel makeup brush set.

I keep two sets of makeup in the little travel cases you can get. I'll grab one or the other depending on my time, probable mood, and destination (in or out contry?), and also a travel kit for some contrast - you can get some decent kits on airline duty free!.

For clothes, a nighty at the absolute minimum, no matter where I'm going. Add in an outfit (or two for an out country), a pair of shoes, undies, hair and various padding.

Somehow it all manages to fit!

I have seen people at gender conferences that last four days pull up on the first day with a TRAILER filled with bads. Sooooooo you decide.

For me I travel on a motorcycle often so I learned how to pack.

I bought a cheap black nylon/rayon/whatever"on" material short black skirt with an elastic waist band. I take that, some makeup, some nylons, a non-wrinkle synthetic top, a bra, my butt and hip padding and some balloons to fill with water for breast forms. It is all small, light weight and gives me something to wear when I get the chance. Since you will be alone and not go out, it would be a great opportunity to practice your makeup skills and worry less about your outfit and style. Good luck and enjoy. However on my last long trip I gave Karren a run for her money in the excess and overweight baggage situation. Another thing I do, is shop the local thrifts if time permits so I can also try different outfits on and add to my wardrobe back home.

Well, girls I guess there's travel and then there's TRAVEL. For a couple of days and nights out I'll take my share of everything femme from hair to toes, day and night wear. On the longer trips, I might just over pack a bit and take multiple sets of things. If I go by car I have decide and pack around my small trunk in the T Bird. Flying is mostly the hassle factor that makes the choices.

If I'm away for the evening I'll take one outfit, underwear, heels etc. but if I could I'd take loads so grab as much as you can and have fun!

Mininum is one full casual outfit, head to toe plus makeup, forms, wig jewelry etc. and sleepwear. Usually I throw in an extra top and skirt to make sure I have options. A girl can't have too many options you know.

I am going to have to plan on a day out on one of my trips sometime soon. I go on work trips fairly often, but they usually have been with one or more co-workers, so I usually just have something comfy to wear in my room plus something to sleep in.

The next problem is learning to pack lighter. My co-workers already look at me funny because of the size of my case. A good third of it is tools and system documentation. But they do appreciate it when we need the stuff! Let's see.....drop documentation, add make-up; drop tools, add clothes. Plenty of room!

Hi..
For us . our grand girl of 7 i take enough for 5 days one case for Dejarn . for me a back pack . as i dont do case s . i carry a camara in front & with my shoulder bag that is a smaller back pack bag . with my make up . i e ,lippy eye linner . maskra powder perfume hand wipes comb hanky, for winter a bean e hat & gloves .
my main back pack two pairs of shoes 4 skirts . 4 tops, knickrs bras over top tights socks
& in an other over night bag toiletries & towel flanel soap & what nots .
what i look at is if i cant carry it on my back then i dont take it . like i did when trav over to austraila then i have to much so most of that must fit in my back pack . really its only what you need . so wether its 2 to 3 nights or 4 weeks its much the same . it may sound like a lot really its not . you just learn how to trav light more so when you have to walk a lot ,
For a night or two a lot less . just two outfits , & what i wear on the day ,
oh, all femme ,

Oh, do have a good time & do dress up & go walk about . you will enjoy the time ,

I always take my sleepwear and if I know I'm going to have a few nights alone, 1 full outfit (dress, panties, bra, shoes etc) plus makeup. It doesn't take up much room although I don't take a wig or forms which others obviously do. I can usually get a satisfactory look without them. I always look for an apartment style hotel so you have more room to enjoy the feel (I'm a closet dresser).

Throw a few things in and enjoy.:drink:

If you're limiting yourself to underdressing, you don't need much, right? Basically just your favorite underthings. It seems like you pretty much have it covered.
