At work we handle hot volitale liquids as part of the job.Face shields ,rubber gloves and very heavy duty overalls are provided. There are 6 on our crew, 1GG, who has said that the overalls stink of b.o.,old farts and are musty. They are shared between us and washed if someone has time to spare. The guys dont mind as much, I said to this GG a pink set could be provided for her alone and we wouldnt wear them. She laughed and said that I would like wearing them maybe....how did she know,or suspect me and my fashion sence? Im straight, closeted CDer,has she seen something Im not aware of....no earrings or painted nails visible.any one else had this happen?

Brings up the questions....
Are you worried she knows, or
are you hoping she will soon know?

Yeah, she was probably joking, but if you looked guilty after she said it, she might be suspicious now. Whatever... why do you care what she thinks anyway? And why would you assume she considers crossdressing a bad thing?

I think she was probably just joking around with you, but I do get what you mean about sometimes GGs seeming to sense things about us.

I remember one time years ago when I wasn't even dressing, but I one time buffed my nails so much it looked like I had shiny nail polish on them. A GG friend of mine said to me "oh, I see you're wearing nail polish!" .... I said no that I wasn't, and that they were just buffed up a little, and she said "oh really? ... knowing you, I wouldn't be surprised if it was polish". I guess I was giving off a vibe :)

Could be in your mannerizms. We emit certain things about ourselves without even trying.

Several different times. Since I have always had some girly mannerisms I assume they are jokingly trying to find out how I will react.

I think this is an interesting question. I have a feeling that many of us really want to "come out" to someone, and be accepted by that someone - whether it be a GG co worker, friend or intimate relationship. Isn't that why we're so excited by positive responses from SA's, for example?

I'm sure that's the case for most of us and it deffinitely is for me. I think I quietly look for some friendly "outing" from others.:daydreaming:
