To answer your question, probably not. Lots of women wear their husband's clothes for any number of reasons. One big one is feeling closer to their knight in shining armour.

Arlene, as a 5 year widower I can really feel your loss! I do like Giuseppina's answer! Although since I wear ladies jeans all the time, when my wife borrowed mine she was still wearing female clothing!!

Just for grins, next time you go into a Dairy Queen store, look at the big mural on the wall, a store opening in about 1948. Probably rural area, big deal, but all the females of all ages are wearing skirts/dresses. NO slacks or jeans anywhere. And totally useless for going home that afternoon and doing the chores.

In my case my wife rarely wears bras, her entire wardrobe is less than my femme wardrobe, she doesn't keep her nails long, never wears lipstick or perfume, and 99% of the time is in jeans and running shoes.

Does this mean she has the slightest bent toward CD, not one bit. She does though "understand" me (as much as one can anyway) and doesn't cringe when I come out into the living room dressed.

For all my grown children it is a non issue for them they know its still me however I'm dressed.

All good insights. In view of the fact that my wife has almost always been bigger than me, it wasn't a likely thing to happen. She is at times plain and wears for comfort over style when at home, she is still dressing in women's undies and outer clothes.

Don't get too comfortable, though. Your wife might have the "lez" gene and sends off little signals like you did at some point.:2c:

My sister in law always wanted my old white business shirts to knock around in, usually tying the front shirttales.

I think my wife wears my dress shirts more often than I do.... Sweaters too- I always point out the "boob stretch" she gives them and then put them into the wash to get them back into a shape that I can wear to work. :hugs:
