Waiting

Today Is an all day Stacey day. I got up this morning and after taking a bath I put on a nice outfit featuring a new skirt I just got from KMart (clearance 9.95). I went out for a nice drive and now I'm home aone.
I think I would just love for someone from a local church to come knocking on my door. I'm trying to imagime what thier expressions would be. I not dressed up all sexy. In fact a GG could easily go to church in what I'm wearing but still I would love to see the reaction.

How about taking a trip to a coffee shop or Borders Books. When I was beginning transition those were often places I would go. It gave me exposure to the real world. The environment is relaxing, there is the ability to sit there and read books (I like to read), and people will likely talk to you!

Sounds like more fun than sitting at home eaa?

I agree with Katie, get on back out there. Enjoy life, even very simple things can be very early on !

Maybe if I went with someone but I think my heart would explode from nervousness if I did that alone.

When I first began transition I always had a shot or two of wiskey before I went out. That took the edge off. After a couple weeks I realzied I no longer needed it!

They might shout, "Halleluah!" You look great. I know what you mean. For me it's the voice thing in public as Brandi. I do go out occasionally but it's not just easy yet.
