I was out for my usual en femme run/walk this morning and, as I turned the corner, my neighbor from two doors down was heading the other way in his pickup truck. He got a real good look at me. I just smiled, mouthed the words "Good Morning!" and kept going.

It hasn't been an all-bad day though. I just opened a piece of mail addressed to me in my femme name and it's an invitation to join the NRA! Complete with a cute temporary membership card. Does the member's range hat come in pink?

Keep up the running maybe you'll run into him again. You wanted him to know anyway.

Nope the hat doesn't come in pink, lol, I already asked them.
I wouldn't worry about the nieghbor, you'll never truely be yourself if you worry about who sees you.

You get NRA mail? I'm only 30 and I get AARP stuff sent to my house in my fem name.

AARP tracked me down today and sent me a nice membership card. They even had my age right. What really sucks is when you become old enough to join. I wish NRA had sent me an invitation instead of AARP.

I guess I missed the part about the clearance?

I am currently possessing a CNWDI (higher than secret) clearance and this lifestyle does play a role in what and where I do things If I want to maintain my lifestyle.

Sometimes they interview neighbors.

Never lie, never hint that being trans is a secret, should be no problems for getting a clearance.

I am right there with ya Michelle....I don't even admit my age to myself, I hate getting those premature AARP invites!
