This might be a long post, so hopefully it stays interesting. I bought a new car last month and had to take it back for warranty service (of course). The dealer is located in Santa Barabara over an hour away from my house, and further from work. Sucks, right? Except that I realized this would be a great time to take a vacation day (and their rental car) to let Melissa out for a day. It was about 8:30 am when I found myself in beautiful (said sarcastically) Chevy Aero. I drove to the nearby Sears parking lot, and started my transformation. Usually takes about 30 minutes, and went without incident. I had bought some thigh high boots a few weeks ago that I was dying to try out and it felt like heaven as I pulled them on. First stop, the ATM. As I'd been looking forward to this day for a while, and I had a strange car in a strange place - I figured who cares and approached the ATM in something that I certainly would be noticed in. I'll let the first picture tell the story. There was no one in sight as withdrew my cash, but on my way back to the car, I had my first highlight. This attractive woman in her 30's walked toward me, with a not so subtle stare. I watched out of the corner of my eye in the glass window across the parking lot to see what she did after I passed her. She literally turned her head around, staring at my backside as I walked away. That's when it happened. BAM! right into a tree she walked... It was all I could do to not break out laughing. Mission accomplished I guess. So from there I went up the mountain to visit the Chumash Casino (where I was confronted by security last time I visited for using the women's room). I put on a long (ankle length) skirt, and lower heeled boots (no pic). As I walked through the deck, I got some looks, but nothing that indicated I was read. Into the casino, and I attracted no attention at all. I sat down at a machine and watched $20 disappear quicker than you can say "watch out for that tree", just like I did the other two times I was there. Then I went looking for a BJ table. Found one with an older couple and an asian man. Sat in between, and had a good run. Too bad Melissa doesn't bet heavy, because I hit 12 out of 14 hands, and was up $300 in no time. I exited the table a hand later, and cashed out. Again no strange looks. Got back to the car and drove off to the beach for some pics.

Before taking off, I put on a short denim skirt, with my thigh highs. About 10 minutes down the highway, I found myself pursued by a trucker impressed with my look. I turned off at one of scenic overlooks and set up my mini tripod on my hood. Took a number of pictures with the beatiful scenery behind me. Truckers were honking horns from the adjacent freeway, and I had one guy drive by REAL slow to check me out. There was no one thinking I was anything but female at that point. I took off and headed to the mall. Put on my black leggings and short boots in the parking lot (see pic in dressing room). Went to Macy's and browsed a while. Tried on about 15 outfits in a total of 4 visits to the fitting room. I got some looks, but I'm pretty certain they were the "who do you think you are looking that thin" type as there were no men in the store. I love department stores because I can grab stuff that I would never buy and check it out. Of course, since I've been doing this, I've ended up buying some stuff I had no intention of earlier because it looked so good. I really should have bought the orange top (below). In my first visit to the fitting room I realized I had left the beep and flash on. I can only wonder what the woman in the next stall thought.

I went from Macy's to Sears, and got at least 3 whistles and another proposition in the parking lot. And I am certain these were not from guys looking for a guy in a wig. Tried on more at Sears, and then walked the outdoor shops. As I exited this discount boutique, I caught a young couple arguing. She seemed to see through me - he didn't. It was hilarious listening to them while walking away. He kept telling her there was no way I was....

So, about this time, I get the call that my car is going to laid up for about a week. Awesome! Melissa gets to stay out late, since I had told my wife I was going to stop off at the OTB for a contest that night. I went into Ventura and figured it was time to get gas. Put on the same outfit I used at the bank, and hopped out at a very busy corner station. I think I almost caused an accident. At least part of me likes to think the screaching tires were related. I got two more catcalls, and then this truck that pulled an illegal u-turn into the station, and then drove REAL slow by me. All I heard from the truck was "wow" in a subdued tone as they passed. Went for a walk at a strip mall, and then had to call it quits to head for the OTB.

I took over 100 shots, but most came out bad (focus, brightness, etc.) Hope you all enjoy these pics. I sure did!

Hi Melissa
It really sounds like you had a wounderful time on your day off
Your pictures look great.
If your not having fun than you arn't doing it right.

As I set here reading about your fun in sunny California
we here on the Mid Alantic side are getting hammered with
20" to 30" of heavy wet snow.
It's no fun shoveling snow in a skirt and heels.
