Douglas Adams in "The Hitchikers Guide To The Galaxy" says the answer to life, universe and everything is 42. I just discovered it's also the answer to how much space I have in the closet for pairs of shoes. The discovery is giving me a chance to cull my collection just a little, but I was surprised by how many pairs of shoes I've gathered without really being aware of it. It makes me not want to clean anywhere else for fear that I'll really find out how much girl stuff a part time crossdresser really can accumulate without much effort or awareness.
