Well, like many of you i sit here in front of the computer totally made up. Very comfortable and loving the whole experience. Debating the daytime trip out tomorrow. Like many of you, i enjoy the evening trips out with a gg on my hip to keep an eye out on me and going out on occasion. But the daytime presents different challenges (the safety of so-so lighting, etc npt being there and I'm debating where to go and what to do. Very comfortable with the DressBarn/Macy's crowd day or night- nice people there! i think some of us (who are not quite as skilled as some of you glam divas!!) do a sort of risk assessment and try to figure out what trip would be enjoyable and what to do......sorry I'm rambling. Guess I'll ponder it a while as i surf this site.

Love reading so many of your posts. There are so many wonderful ladies on here...wish we all lived in our own little community!! Wouldn't tht be fun!!!

Hugs, Jamie

Whenever I've had the opportunity to go out dressed in the morning, it's always so much better than going out late in the evening. People are much more relaxed. I gone to malls, shops, wherever.

As far as the safety issue, I feel less safe at night.

When you have the time to go out and enjoy the world, why not take it? At first it can seem very daunting, being alone, looking different than you usually do, but very few people will actually take much notice anyway.

Next time, get up grab your purse, make a trip to the post office, the local mall, take in a movie. Do anything that you want to do. Just sitting wishing will never get you out and will not give you the opportunity to learn from any problems that might occur. Finding out that 5 inch heels are not the best for a first tour of the mall, or that a skirt is so short you can't even bend over can be revealing.

So, do your best makeup job, dress to fit the scen, and go out and mill, just like the rest of humanity. But most of all, enjoy the fact that you look great!
