Psychic Doctor?

I have several ongoing health issues and as a result see several doctors regularly. One of them is my Rheumatologist. He's a very sweet, respectful man who always takes time with his patients (well, with me at least) When my wife passed away last October he sent me a personal letter of condolence. Like all of my other doctors he knows I'm transitioning. He always calls me Pam and treats me accordingly.

I need regular blood work done for him so instead of having to write the order every time the clinic has a card I can carry with me and present to the lab when I have my blood drawn. The cards expire annually and today when I received my mail I found 2 cards had been sent to me. One is my male name. The other one in Pamela's.

The reason I wonder if he's psychic is this. I haven't seen him since December. There is no way (that I know of at least) that he knows the hearing for my name change is on the 24th of this month. Yet he still ordered a card to be sent out for Pam.

Pam,sweety, you may have an admirer. The least being he knows more than you think. If it was me I would not ask but observe closely as he may be more than your fav doc.

This one is definatly a keeper, not only using your female name to your face but writing orders in your female name shows a level of sensitivity not often found even in the most accepting of folks. Good luck and keep us informed...Stephanie
