I'm usually quiet and shy, particularly when compared to the outspoken, highly verbal, "boarderline type A" personality that "he" is. I convince myself that it's because my voice is not as good as I'd like it to be, particularly if I try to "speak up."

So last night, after my day at the seminar (http://www.crossdressers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=126414), I told my spouse, "I think Persephone needs assertiveness training."

Her response? "I've been thinking that for years!"

How about you? How self-assertive are you in "girl mode?"

Not very. I'm not a really assertive person in any mode, sometimes to my detriment, I'm sure.

I'm with Kim, I'm not a very assertive person, period. I hate conflict and tend to be a negotiator. I think this actually helps me as a manager and project manager.

I am not assertive at all in either mode, I used to be when I was younger. Now I can be if a person gets on my wrong side in either mode.
