Why do forum members call the protuberances on the top half of a female the "girls" and the dangly bits on the male body the "boys"?

To me, my breasts are my boobs. Girls are what we all aspire to!

Because it wouldn't sound right if they were reversed!!!

"Hey... Check out the boys on that babe!!".

Nahhhh. Just not right..

And what's that got to do with sterotyping anyway? Sterotyping is where you have predetermined ideas about a certain class of people. Like - all crossdressers are a bunch of cheaters and liars... Hmmm. Bad example... :D

Those are not expressions that I use, so I don't know. I can see Karren's point--pretty funny!

For me, it is just a polite way of referring to the parts.

Because, for some strange reason, the words are considered to be more polite than (for example) bristols or willies.
(Add your own favourite words ... there must be hundreds of them!)

I have no idea, another thing that perplexes me is why is "bra" singular and "panties" plural?

Whhaaat?

Isn't stereo-typing using the left hand for all the letters between a and m with the left hand, and all the letters between n and z with the right hand?

And, how come my computer doesn't have a "waa-waa" pedal for underlining?
