Chinese fortune

Recently I read a fortune cookie message (which I paraphased). "A transgendered cannot be comfortable without his (her) own approval' . I thought this was very profound and surely food for thought. Aren't we all somewhat plagued by some form of self-disapproval, which surely would explain the angst associated often associated with crossdressing/ transgenderism ? how do you deal with 'self approval'?

I have struggled with "self-approval," but I am not doing that any more. Even though I am comfortable as a female, I think that there are always qualities about ourselves that we may second guess or be uncertain about. I just try to recognize those and accept them until--if I think that I need change--change them as well as I can.
