What was the most exciting thing to you while you are out in public fully dressed and made up ? For me it is most definitely seeing the reflection of a sexily dressed, fairly decent looking woman in a store window instead of the wild-eyed southern boy whose image I have been getting weary of seeing....

My most vivid memory of being out en femme, was in October last year. I had been in Edinburgh earlier in the night, and had a scary moment when I thought someone was paying just a bit to much attention to me while out walking. I got back to the car and started to head home. As I was passing through a small town, I decided to get out and have a walk around, and was getting a bit of a kick from seeing myself reflected in shop windows. After a while I headed back to the car, and drove into the town square to use the ATM at the bank. Well this square was surrounded with buildings and was deserted at 1am in the morning. I had a walk of about 50 yards to the ATM. As I was walking to the ATM it was so quiet I could hear the sound of my stillettos reverberating around the square. It was so thrilling to hear this, that I spent an exciting 1/2 hour walking around this deserted town square, getting a thrill listening to sound of my heels echoing around. Bliss.

Simply the fact that I can do this. Just being able to "go out fully made up" is, for me, the biggest thrill.
It's not so much that I might "pass" or not, (sometimes I do, most times NOT)
Having the ability is all that matters to me, and that's the biggest part of it.

Hearing my heels clicking on the sidewalk was always a high point but as Phyliss points out just being able to be out is the biggest part. It's difficult to pick any one thing but buying my first bra and going out to dinner with my wife will go down as some of the most memorable events in my life.

I haven't gone out a lot. But just the realization that "I can do this!" was pretty exciting. The world didn't end. I didn't get beat up. And people smiled and were polite!
Of course it was great just for it to be anything short of the old western saloon scenes where a person walks in and the piano player stops, everyone stops talking, and everyone looks at who came in. :heehee:

For me it is the ability to go out wherever I want in downtown San Francisco, shop, have a drink in the trendiest bars, eat in great restaurants or local diners, and best of all, get into long conversations with whomever is close to me where ever I am. It is just being me while dressed en femme.

Oh gosh, there are so many "exciting" things. :) I love being in mainstream public places without incident. I love how I feel when I'm dressed. I love how I feel in my heart and mind as well as how I feel because of how my clothes look and feel on my body. I love the sound of my heels clicking on the sidewalk, I love being called a "lady" or being "mam'ed" by people. I love it when a man holds the door open for me or helps me on with my coat. I love it when GGs treat me as one of their own and talk about things with me that I perceive they would never talk openly about to a guy. There are so many wonderful things that happen when I am out in public en femme and the very best one of all is that I get to share all of them with my wife by my side happily participating while we enjoy this time together. :)

Can't say it was exciting for me, just felt nice to get out of the house for once. Nice to just be out in the car... As myself.

One time while shopping at the Meadows Mall in Las Vegas, I was there by my self dressed femme with long blonde hair and not trying to pass. I was approched from behind by a SA in one of the ladies clothing stores with "May I help you find something, Madam!" :daydreaming: I turned around and said "Yes you may I'm looking for...... I saw a very surprised sales associate, and then I said "I don't mind being called Madam" :heehee: She call me Madam two more times before I left the store. I also thanked her for spending a few minutes helping me.

I have been getting around a lot lately so I have done my share of exciting things recently. But there is one that stands out clearly in my mind.
Not too long ago, I went on my first date with a guy. He was a total gentleman and a very interesting person. I met him at a very nice hotel in town and he took me out to dinner. We walked through the throngs of people and walked into a crowded find dining establishment with his hand holding mine. He looked at me and told me to hold my head high too. He told me I was beautiful and a nice person and he was proud to be my date. He treated me like a lady and taught me to just be me. It was totally fulfilling for my girly ego. I also gained tremendous confidence that night!

I think it is the backward glances of the men and some women.

Well number one for me is being asked to dance (my favorite thing) or being chatted up in a straight club :)
In the daylight world, I always get a kick when a woman walking in the opposite direction gives me a quick up and down glance and then settles on my legs :)
And of course, exchanging a little smile with a GG ...
