HRT sacramento area?

Ive been trying to start HRT for some time now and I got close when I lived in so. cal but ever since I moved north Ive just been floundering. I dont know where to start, I dont know who to contact or what resources are available. Again money is a big issue as I just got laid off. So if anyone can give me some direction as to who I can contact in the sacramento area where I can get evaluated for HRT or even start a regimen, I would be most appreciative. thanks :love:

I have been seeing a therapist by the name of Dr. David Nylund. Look up his info on www.riverrockcounseling.com

He's a great guy, very easy going. He should be able to point you in the right direction.

Contact the River City Gems group in Sacramento. Rachel Morley and her wife Marla, both active members of this site, are two of the founding members of the Gems. I have met several TS's there at their gatherings (formal and informal) who are transitioning or have already completed their transitions. They are a wonderful group with a lot of very good reputable resources.

thanks for the help I contacted river rock counseling and spoke to a individual who does evaluations. So...as soon as Im able to get a job Ill start talking with him.:)

All of the medical data and information that ANY doctor needs is readily available on the internet. This data is written by doctors and can be a guide for any doctor for addressing your hormone needs.

Do a google search for transgender medicine and you will see. Dr. Lori Kohler is a big name.
