I made it to the big city of Totonto, brought all my stuff, and since Im staying for 5 days had everything hung up and stored in drawers, which beats the heck out of storing my stuff in a suitcase like usual. So far its been a great experience, walking around the gay village. I would like to go for drinks but dont like the dark clubs and the loud music. Does anyone know if there are any nicer lounges and restaurants that are TG friendly?

Sorry, I don't know anything about Toronto, but I did want to drop into your thread and raise a glass in a toast to you and wish you a great time!:wine:

Why worry about finding a specific TG friendly place. Your money is a green as anyone else is so go find place that looks nice and enjoy. When I go out as Nicole I want good food, good wine and nice a atmosphere.

Money in Toronto is not as green as in the US...it has Queen Elisabeth on it.....kinda yellow & red actually:heehee:......or am I mistaking it of for British money?

Hey Nathalie,
It could be, but if I remember correctly, and it has been a few years since I last visited Toronto, they accepted US dollars as quickly as Canadian bills. They just adjusted for the exchange rate.

I find pretty much anywhere in the village is accepting. For a little quieter and more of a pub atmosphere you could try O'Grady's or the place across the street. One block south of Wellesley on Church.
